Dude, this'll sound weird, but i really like john! He seems to be too eeasily pleased, but he has a big heart and is very generous. Hes a new favorite. ^^

My god, what antics! I can only imagine what adventures can await this rambunctious newcomer!

This is hilarious! I know John is meant to be boring and unimaginative and whatnot, but he comes off as a pleasant chap, and one who, because he is easily entertained, is strangely happy. I wish I could feel as much about my hobbies as he does about laundry detergent!

Just finished the story and I think it was... adequate. John is a refreshing taste on a site of almost constant (dare I say it) adventurous characters.

Though I do feel a slight bit of shame for snooping into John's diary... I will now express my embarrassment with an emotional icon:

For some reason this story reminds me of The Stanley Parable. Not that the plots seem similar in any way, I just think that Stanleys job would be perfect for John.

I 'd'awed' when I heard about John's profession. Such a quaint little appliance manual store. ^^ I think I almost like John better than Derpy, man, I'm just sayin'! ^^

It contains instructions in three languages and the water heater itself, the E.S. 000, came in shades of grey and gray.

John's passion for the small things is both hilarious and very touching. I'm so happy Pinkie has learned from her experiences with i.e. C. D. Donkey and now adjusts her merriment-inducing talents to the recipient!

This is another one of those badly underrated fics I've seen every now and then.

It's just a bit of fun really; something meant to be light-hearted. I think it accomplishes that very well.

Well I don't know how long you can keep this up without it getting repetitive but for now it's keeping the charm.

John should hang out with Fluttershy sometime I imagine he'd be really good at the Quiet Game.

The contrast of this from all of the 'Exciting' fics going around is really refreshing.

It's good that there is no conflict at times, but you did a good job of making this seem suspenseful.
