“You dare to disturb me?” I said with a booming voice against those who stood in front of me, most of them tried to stay on the ground and trying not to fly away, the hovering blue Pegasi however had no chance and was shouted out of the cave.

For her own luck she came harmless back saying “whoa...”

I stood up and moved towards the group, with every step I saw how their bodies shook under the impact of steps.

The yellow Pegasus almost feinted out of fear.

The blue Pegasus was still a little dizzy and could hardly pull herself up to fly straight.

The white Unicorn was scared just like  the purple and the orange one.

The pink one was weird and laughed at every quake I was making.

And then there was the whelp... a little purple and green scaled dragon that was hiding behind the purple unicorn.

But as I didn’t get any response of them I said:

“What is your purpose to come here and disturbing me?! If you’re one of those ‘Heroes’ you claim yourself to be, then it would be good to leave now and never come back.” I hissed at them, turning my back towards them and going deeper into the cave.

I could feel it, how they stared at me, puzzled... not a wonder. That something like this came out of a “Dragons” Mouth.

The most of my Kin are now greedy... mindless Beasts... A very shameful display.

I huddled up again into a ball, closed my eyes and tried to ignore them... but without success they still stood there and one of them spoke up.

“Umm... We” I cut her off instantly by grunting.

“You have a couple of seconds to vanish... last chance little Equine... take your friends and be gone from this place”

the purple unicron now stomped on the ground saying

“well... We won’t! And I now command you in the name of Celestia to leave!” the lavender colored unicorn shouted to me and the others were joining her in.

“Yeah show ‘em twi!” the orange pony said to her and then the sky-blue one made a statement too: “Hell yeah! Get lost before something bad happens!”

I opened my eyes looking menacing to her.

“Who do you think you are little creature, to speak like that in the name of the Goddess AND against me”

I was in anger, I never saw such lack of respect, but as she wanted to answer, the green dragon whom hid behind her now stepped forward.

“Hey Buddy! Don’t talk like that to Twilight and my friends!”

With these words I couldn’t bare it anymore... No other creature spoke like that to me.

NO ONE HAD? spoken like that to me in my eternal lifetime.

I stood up and looked down to them snarling in anger. I breathed deeply

and said in a booming voice that even shattered the thickest icicles from the ceiling of the cave.

“YOU DARE TO SPEAK WITH ME LIKE THAT LITTLE WHELP? DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?”

The little dragon and her pony friends looked terrified of me, I then circled around and eyed them down and came with my head closer to the group, starering at them for couple of seconds and then said again with an calming voice.

“I will not move, nor you or someone else will convince me to go, now leave me be before I change my mind and do something horrible against you all. “ I looked away and set them free.

I walked a few steps from them and let myself fall on the ground and tried to drift off into sleep.

The fact that I was forgotten, that I was not wanted around somewhere made my weak heart sad and heavy.

“Did you do everything I told you?” the feminine voice spoke to me.

“Yes mom. Everything you wanted... can I have some free time now please, all this writing gave me a cramp in my claw”

I sighed while looking to her up.

“Alright alright... now off with you” she said giggling.

As I (awoke) walked out I instantly opened my eyes... It was a dream... a dream... I sighed and looked around...

The ponies were gone and it was already night.

Right then I felt slightly bad at my behavior against them, sometimes I am too lofty.

This is not the way I was taught to behave.

I grunt and stand up walking out of the cave looking at the beautiful stars that Luna had casted.

I then sit on my hind legs and free my mind, puff some smoke rings into the air and enjoy the cold night, until I heard something rustling in the bush.

“Who goes there?” I said while looking towards the direction where the sound came.

“Umm... Spike” he said and jumped out of the bush, revealing that it was the little whelp.

I frowned slightly at his appearance and asked “didn’t I say you should never come back whelp?”

“yes but. I couldn’t sleep... you know... bad conscience.” he chuckled sheepishly and I just grunted and looked towards the sky.

“I..I just wanted to say sorry because of me and my friend’s behavior.”

as surprised as I was I looked at him again

He was fiddling with his fingers in embarrassment, his feet were pointing to the inside and he had not gotten his wings yet.

“Accepted… but you’re still not allowed to come here.”

“Eh... but why?”

He now walked closer to me but I didn’t really mind.

"Because I want peace... Nothing more Whelp.”

“Don’t you want to have any friends?”

I thought for a second and then said looking down to him. In meantime he sat down next to me and looked up to me.

“Isn’t it a little bit too late for you child?”

“But… you didn’t really answered my question.” he said while tilting slightly his head.

“Because I don’t want to” I said while standing up and heading again inside.

“Now go home”

“Umm I don’t know your name!” he shouted after me and I responded simply by telling my name: “Mesrian”

“Mom... I am scared...” I looked down from the cliff

“Don’t worry. I will be there for you, Now you didn’t forgot what I told you about your wings right?

I nodded and still looked down, then I felt a slight pressure on my back and she pushed me off the cliff.

I screamed and opened my eyes, looking around I see Spike, the purple unicorn and... Celestia.

It was all a dream again.

“What do you all want? Didn’t I say that I want to be alone.”

“This is important Mesrian” Said Celestia while coming closer to me.

“Hah... Important... then speak Goddess.” I said looking her straight in the eye in the same way she did to me.

“We came here to ask if you would teach... Spike to be a real dragon so he does not chose the path of greed that so many other dragons do"

Twilight then continued the princess’s sentence

“He once was in greed where he had birthday and we could barely get him out of his situation.”

Spike now waved towards me sheepishly, but still stood behind twilight.

“Why should I do that? how would I benefit from this? No, I won’t do it, he is not my son nor someone of my family member”

“Mhh… But what If he is willing to pass your legacy to an another dragon in the future.”

said Celestia, still trying to convince me.

“I have no Legacy to give Celestia, all I have is myself.”

I still laid down on my stomach and crossed my arms.

“Mesrian you know you were never alone.” she said and with that my anger rose up.

“And you say that after how many millenniums that passed by since our incident?” I said it taunting towards her.

I also saw how Spike and Twilight looked confused to our conversation, listening carefully and curiously.

“You followed your own head Mesrian, like you do it now, I know you can’t forgive me but please, don’t carry your anger towards my Pupil and her assistant.” she now gestured towards the two.

“A pupil mhh? Interesting... since when does a Goddess need a pupil?” I said again with a mocking tone. Even though I think I knew why she fetched a student to her side, I asked her only to provoke her.

“This is none of your business, Dragon... now will you teach Spike how to become a real dragon or not?”

she said and almost snarled against me, I just smiled.. I had my success for now

“We’ll see... “ I drew my attention towards Spike

“Will you be willing to do everything I say, Whelp?”

He nodded nervously towards me

“Use your voice... have some backbone little one”

“Y-yes, Sir”

“Do you call yourself worthy to see me as a Master and to see yourself as ‘bautwael’ of mine?”

“Umm..Yes?”

I looked sceptical towards him and

then he repeated

“I mean: Of course!”

I nod somehow satisfied and look towards Twilight

“Are you his Mother? The fostress of him?”

She gulped and then looked to Spike who also looked towards her. She then turned towards me muttering.

“I eh-” I cut her off by saying “So you are, good... for the next of his days... you will send him whenever I will call for him even in the night, in a storm, or something else.

You will not disturb my lessons and you will not tamper into my teaching methods.

Do you understand?”

I then waited for her answer, she looked first to Celestia and then to Spike.

“B-but he is a-also my assistant… I will need him... too”

Spike nodded in approval to me.

“Yes he is… but he also my apprentice now, when I call out for him he will come to me and do anything I will say, even if I only want him to scratch my back.”

she nodded a little disappointed and I turned my head again to Spike.

“You... will come in early morning to me, If I ever see the tip of the sun I will wake you up... in my special way, did you understand?” I came closer with my head towards him and eyed him down.

“Awww... in the morning? That’s so not cool “ He said while crossing his arms before me but then he twitched and looked again nervously to me “I mean... of course, Sir.”

“Good... then it’s settled... now go home young one, have some rest. Tomorrow will be the start of your adventure and it will be a long day.”

Spike nodded to me and left the cave with Twilight, Celestia still stood there smiling towards me then following the two.

I wheeze to her smiling and head towards my favorite spot, trying to sleep.
