It is a good and noble thing to tell a good story.

T

This story is a sequel to Chasing Daylight

After the events of Chasing Daylight Both Scootaloo and Rainbow are forced to confront the fact that their relationship might never be the same.

(You should read the prequel before you read this because that's the only way it makes sense.)

Great and Powerful SpikeSnipinexpert and Sleepy Panda all looked at this at one point and made suggestions. So a thank you to them.

I enjoyed this. I was honestly hoping the last story would get a follow-up.

(Optional) "What about me?" She scoffed. "I wasn't the one who lied to her."

or something along those lines just to add a bit more emphasis into that fact.

I don't get this part, though. I'm guessing a note to yourself that got posted by accident?

This story was pleasant, but it had a few grammatical mistakes here and there. I could point them out and fix them once I get to a computer.

On an unrelated note, I've talked to Sleepy Panda a few times. She's decent.

I liked both.... this one more because it fixed a bridge that I have never felt should've been burned in the first place.

This turned out great, I'm glad I got to help out with this story. If you need help on anything else just pm me.:moustache:

Nice one. It gives something that would not fit in the first one, closure. I'm rather curious about what and when, if it happened, RD and scoots parents talked. Although, if someone could understand, maybe it's them. They wanted a child they most likely couldn't have... She had a child she couldn't take care of. When someone is on a situation so directly opposite to yours, their poison tends to be quite the same.

All in all, it brings it to a satisfying end. Many questions might remain, but I don't beloved it would be good fit the story to answer them. Kudos for this, nonetheless

I kind of wish this gets another sequel that's set years down the line when RD ends up having another kid.
I know it probably won't happen, but one can hope.

7703513 Interesting idea. I remember one story that was similar, I'm nit sure how I would write it without just aping it completely.

7703701 The original party worm! Whimmy wam wam waggle.

Sorry

Yeah both those are good suggestions. Thanks for reading.

7703695 Out of curiosity, what was that other story?

Well it's a nice fic, I'm glad you wrote a sequel that offers more closure than the original did.

The story was decent but I really dislike how they treated Rainbow like she was the victim and vilified Scootaloo because she was mad and didn't instantly forgive her,

7733386 Who do you think villianized Scoots in this? I thought i wrote every pomy as sympathetic to her position.

7734816 Fluttershy she made it sound like she was bad or wrong if she didn't forgive Rainbow

7734818 I disagree, Fluttershy's point was that nursing a grudge was hurting both of them.

7734832 You are free to disagree with me I'm just telling you my feelings

I really like this fic (and its prequel) because of how real it is. In real life, there is no way to do things that makes everyone happy, and not step on anyone's metaphorical toes, or anything like that. Feelings are messy and it takes time to work things out.

But yeah, I like this fic :raritywink:

I felt like the first story, although good, was lacking something.

This is what it was lacking. I really liked how you tied up the story!

I still feel like this story is somewhat lacking, but again, not my fic.

8096522 well I've got no answer to that

8416500
That wasn't my intention. He's some nameless guy Rainbow had a one night stand with.
