It was a bright and sunny day in Canterlot; a great day for anypony to be outside.

The mistress of the night, however sat on the edge of her comfortable bed, looking very tired, but was also very fascinating. Then again, she always looked like that. Despite her very soft and snug resting place, she appeared to be very agitated. And with good reason, for a very old enemy lay right across her, within a few arms' reach.

Luna stared into the mad, golden eyes of her immortal foe. That long, sharp, out-of-place tooth sticking out of his mouth looks ready to bite into her neck. His long, slithering tail swept across her floor with a force of three hundred stallions strong.

She had the right to feel disturbed, and angry. She remembered all those years ago, dating far back before her time of Nightmare Moon. When the Kingdom of Equestria was ruled by the power of eternal chaos. Cotton candy storm clouds had flooded the entire land with chocolate rain. Checkerboard patterns dotted the rolling hills of trees and flowers. Cute and cuddly animals suddenly grew elongated legs and huge ears. They were still cute and cuddly but it was weird.

Before all that however, he was once a brother to her. A very bad brother. As she explores her past, she recalls numerous amounts of noogies, various pranks, and constant milky rains drenching her lovely mane. It was a fun time however, as their mother was still alive and happy.

Together she, her sister, and her brothers all played together in the sun and moonlight under the watchful eye of their caring forebearer.

Today however, her once beloved brother was somewhat different and could not be underestimated. He is dangerous and cunning, and under all cost, should still be under a timeout as the main garden decoration of the castle.

So...

"Why is Discord in my room, dearest sister?"

"Because, we need to put our differences aside." Celestia walked over to Luna's computer. "We have been driven apart for too long, and what better way for us to bond together than to play a Co-Op game."

"But why MY computer?!" Luna yelled.

"Because I don't have Mari0 on mine. Now are we going to start?"

Luna pointed an accusing hoof towards Discord. "But why with him? He is one the one once put Equestria into deep chaos. Think about all the effort it took to seal him into his stony prison! Think about how almost split the Element of Harmony's friendship apart! Plus!" She lifted up a Moon Pie brand cardboard box. "He ate all my Moon Pies!"

"He's still imprisoned. He can't do magic in that stone form," Celestia said, pointing out the fact that Discord was still made of stone. “Even though he can physically move, the stone magic still seals his magic abilities.”

"He can still break stuff!" Luna said.

The divines seems to answer her call as Discord's tail absently swings a little towards one of Luna's lunar vessels. The plummeting porcelain pot meets its untimely death as it shatters into a million fragments.

"Oops, sorry about that." Discord looks over at Luna with a toothy guilty grin.

Luna's hoof is shaking with fury as she picks up one of the shards.

"Discord."

"Yes Luna?"

"Do you have any idea how long it took to make this pot?"

"No."

Luna gathers up all the air that she could. "1000 YEARS! Do you have any idea how long it takes to make a pot like this without heat?! As long as my banishment! This is my most prized possession! This was really hard to craft you piece of horse *bleep*."

Chaotic meanwhile enters the room with a hoof in one ear as he tries to block out the night mistress's royal voice. Perhaps it wasn't such a good idea when he mentioned this bonding exercise to Celestia.

Chaotic went over to the Celestia. "Does she have Mari0?"

"Yep," she moves the mouse over to the game. "Why did you suggest this game anyway?"

"Oh, well I like the original Mari0 games because they're so much fun and simple," he said.

"Portal 2 is a game with multiplayer in it and the Co-Op mode requires teamwork and in turn, creates bonding. This game is the culmination of both. I would go with the Portal game but it only lets up to two players play. This one however, we can all play on it."

"Won't we need share the one keyboard we have?" Celestia said as she looks down at the Luna's keyboard doubtfully.

"Nah, I think we could connect online." he said as he magically raised a couple of laptops out of his bag. "I just wanted to see if she has it."

Celestia smiled at his timing of preparation. She had her doubts about the colt's plan to rekindle their friendship between Luna, herself, and Discord. She looked at the other two and saw them both on the ground. Luna, currently on top, is biting down on one of Discord's horns.

Discord stretches out one of his arms towards Celestia dramatically as if he was dying. "He- help. The moon shark has got me!"

Chaotic nudges the sun goddess. "Why is he still stone? Shouldn't he be okay with Temporis up and about?"

"Oh well, he ate all of Luna's moon pies so she turned him to stone again as punishment. You should have seen her a few minutes ago. All so melodramatic," Celestia chuckled.

"Uh, can you please help me up?" Discord asked. "I'm too tired from the weight of this little fishy."

"Oh please grow up Dizzy. It's time to play." Celestia grabs Luna with her magic and sets her down in front of the computer.

Luna looks displeased at the fact that she has to work with Discord as a team. But her older sister wants this badly, so being the good sister, she will do it for her.

Discord doesn't looks that happy either, but since he can't do magic right now, he might as well play along. Besides, it has been a while since he played a game with his siblings.

Chaotic meanwhile sets up a black box next to his laptop and connects the two. He then places a microphone stand in the middle of all four of them and connects that as well.

"Chaotic, what are you doing?" Luna asked.

"Oh, I'm just recording our game. People would like to know how well we did." Chaotic casually said, as if it was no big deal.

"What?! Why? Ponies will panic if they know Discord is going about!" Luna objected. She is starting to have second thoughts.

"Oh relax, if the time of his return was true, more than a year has passed already. I'm sure everypony won't recognize his voice. Besides, I'll use the name Gavin for the video." he said. "Celestia, if you may host the game for us."

"Whoa now, wait a second." Discord gave Chaotic a disapproving look. "Since when did you start giving me fake names?."

Chaotic looks at the draconequus with a look of 'not-caring'. "Since I could use magic and you can't."

"Okay! I got the game set up. Everypony join the lobby please." Celestia said, not wanting to have a fight start before the game.

Luna reluctantly selected her sister's lobby. I'm gonna hate this, aren't I?

A Few Hours Later

"Oh my god! Are you kidding me?" Chaotic yelled.

"That is the worst move I have ever seen, Luna!" Discord said as he closed his laptop.

"Says you! We couldn't get past World 1 with your portals!" Luna frowned.

"Guys! Luna! Please! The whole castle could hear you!" Celestia said desperately.

The entire group was yelling at each other as in the time they spent playing together, they all countlessly died due to Discord's portals, or Luna's rushing. The last straw was when Luna somehow shot a portal next to the lava, and shot another one at her feet.

"No! No! You guys rushed me into finishing the level and then Discord nudged me with his bucking tail!" Luna yelled at all of them.

The unicorn cowered a little as the goddess performed the Royal Canterlot Voice upon them.

"I didn't say anything," Chaotic whimpered.

Nopony heard him.

"Hey. At least I paid attention to where I shot my portals." Discord folded his arms in a huffy puffy manner.

"Are you saying you did that on purpose?" Luna calmly said.

"Whoa, whoa, wait. That's not what I said at all!" he said. She looked really pissed right now.

"Uh, Luna?" Celestia said. She poked the moon mare. "He didn't mean it at all, I assure yo-"

"EVERYPONY OUT OF MY ROOM NOW!" Luna shouted as she tossed everyone out with her magic.

Chaotic raised a hoof. "But Luna, Can I have my laptops bac-"

"No!" She slammed the door.
