    When Bonbon and Lyra are convicted of first-degree murder, they are given the choice to join the Equestrian Penitiary Force, more commonly known known as the E.P.F.. A unit of convicted criminals that would otherwise be executed, the E.P.F. goes anywhere, does anything, and faces everything that other units can't.

    Is now a one-shot.

    Lyra's and Bonbon's ranks seem to be switched.  Corporal Lyra is clearly subordinate to Lance Corporal Bonbon.  However, Lance Corporal is the lowest NCO grade, and is in one rank below Corporal.  They are equivalent to the NATO ranks of OR-3 and OR-4 respectively.

    That is your right as the author.  

    I pointed out the discrepancy because it caused some confusion as to who was in command.  Exactly the thing you don't want in combat. =P  If you're going to use a your own non standard rank system, it would be helpful to your readers if you were to include a rank chart and table of organization.
