ShadowWalking18

T

*This is based on a true story*

No pony could expected it. Even I didn't think it was true at first. I thought it was just some old mares tale or the overactive imagination of school fillies.

But when all the proof pointed to it. I had to believe it. Even more so when I saw it for myself.

I still remember how it all happened.....

Pretty good dude. I'm interested to see where this goes.

As for encounters, I've got nothing creature-esc. Only ghost-esk.

FIRST!!!!!

After reading the 4 chapters and taking closer look at the picture I realised the ponies were antrhos

I miss having a dog.

This is a decent story, but I don't like how applejack doesn't even at least ponder about the creature that not only apple bloom saw, but the rest of the cmc as well. I also don't like how she completely brushes off her sister and her friends fear, at least make her comfort them in a non patronizing way. This is the everfree forest we are talking about and applejack have seen some weird stuff in the series, so it wouldn't be far fetched for a two legged creature with hair covering their body to be trekking the forest.

How often do adults listen to children about monsters in the woods or under the bed? Applejack is a rather down to earth pony, and has a lot of responsibilities for the farm. With this mindset, adults often look for rational explanations for things, and in this case she thinks the girls just saw something and over exaggerated the details because one, its dark and two its what adults assume kids do.

And sure the Everfree is filled with strange things, but she knows, or thinks she knows, what calls it home. We think we know what calls our woods and jungles homes and the oceans, but we often find what we thought we knew was not the case.

Is this story dead?:pinkiesad2:

Se we are basically this worlds Bigfoot?
