I like this. I like this a lot. The characters who've changed less are captured beautifully, I love what you've done with Applebloom (didn't get to see too much of Sweetie Belle yet, but I look forwards to that and any appearances by Scootaloo), and the whole idea is great. I really like how you had Twilight catch the thought in measures, rather than all at once, too.

I LOVE fluttershy's rant, scolding Rainbow about how Pinkie cries herself to sleep at night because she can't play in the clouds with her foals and how her own foals have to wonder why their daddy can't join them the way mommy can.

I know what implicit means, I chose that word because while I agree that Fluttershy was explicitly threatening Applejack, the undertone in her gentle, sweet voice threatened oh so much more. You do NOT mess around where Fluttershy's kids are concerned.
