I found out about her from my daughter, who prefers the less scary G2 and G3 stuff. I am an artist, so when I saw there was not only a painter, but and earth pony painter, I knew I had to write about her.
Even if my story isn't, um, exactly true to the spirit of G3.
Page-turning and poignant and laugh-out-loud hilarious.
I can't believe I cracked this open expecting a little comedic oneshot—it's a precious work of art. Toola is best pony and I learned a lot from her today! 
I'm not sure what I went into this expecting, and honestly I'm not sure what it was I even got, but I loved every moment of it.

I haven't seen many stories about Toola, so have a like and a fave for using this angle on her.
Ooh, something really different that doesn't fall flat on its face! Its tone is a little crude for me, but then it is M-rated, and there's a decent story here, which is the main thing. I'm a bit irritated by the "Faust" thing, but it's interesting and original and that's enough for an upvote.
I fucking lost it.
This was rather a joy to read. I'm glad someone's doing something with Toola Roola, even if the real deal wasn't a tenth as cool as this.

Literally everything I know about canon Toola comes from a six page board board book my daughter had when she was younger. But 'earth pony painter' was a concept that really resonates with me.

Mapping pony age to human age is weird, because the Mane 6 are high school kids in the human world, even Sunset, who would have to be significantly older than Twi for them not to have recognized each other from School.
By the logic of the show, when you get your cutie mark is when you ought to start professional training, since that's when you know what you're job is going to be right? But Diamond and Spoonie have been going to the one-room schoolhouse for the ENTIRE SERIES RUN. Even though the CMC just got theirs and are apparently doing professional-ish social work now? Like I said I'm behind on 7, but that's what it looks like from 6.
Anyway, TBH whenever canon doesn't make sense to me I just ignore it. BUT! When CMC peers have appeared in my porn stories, they've been aged up to at least human-equivalent 18, because I have guilt about writing about anypony younger than that. So. Yeah. If I do porn of canon Toola that's what I'll do.

SRSLY one 7 episode I have watched is 4. I LOVE Maud. I see the Maud revealed in that episode as being a lot more sensitive than the way I write her. So my solution is some stores I feature canon 'sensitive Maud' and others I use my original 'tough as nails Maud'. I use a variant of literary agent hypothesis where all my fanfics are set in (mostly benign) splinter universes accidentally created in the season 5 finale. Thanks to Timey Wimey Ball this is retroactive, too. Like a major event in the past of most of my stories is the Pegasus city of Lesbos being destroyed in the early stages of Nightmare Moon's War, setting an overall darker tone for the universe. In my actual-series headcanon, and in some of my stories (Learn to Fly mentions it still being around), Lesbos is fine. If canon ever strongly establishes that no such place exists, I'm in trouble, but since you can't prove a negative, and since Pegasus cities move around enough that they might not always appear on maps, I'm fine.

And Dumb Ox. Well. I actually find he’s in a similar boat to people who find the bleakness of the universe terrifying and don’t see anything spiritual about it, so they get all intense about immortality and singularity stuff and start unironically talking about ‘death worship’ when people are accepting of mortality. They’ve come to a conclusion about the universe they don’t like, but they mean it and accept its implications. I just think they’re wrong.

I admit that, even though I was raised Christian and keep trying to be one and have read a ton about it, I don't really understand it.
I need to do some religion world building for Harmonism and the Old Ways, see if I can make this story more pony.
