This ain't as easy as I make it look.

E

When Twilight got her new castle, she had no idea just how big it was, there are 3 separate ballrooms just to start. Luckily, Princess Celestia did, and had the foresight to send some help. It might only be one pony, but he's definitely a real marvel.

Set directly after Castle Sweet Castle

If you enjoyed the show, I suggest you pick up the books or audio books as well. It's a marvelous, smashing series, and a very fun before-bed read (lots of short sections). A very unexpected and welcome crossover from you here!

If memory serves, Jevees was played by Stephen Fry.

This sounds great so far, will definitely be watching!

I do believe I would like more of this.

Jeeves in Equestria? You have my interest, and based on what you've written I hope to see more.

Ah, Jeeves - one of my favorite characters and just what Twi needs to cope with the castle.

Oh god, Jeeves and Wooster... the most hilarious show that features the tagteam of Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry...

While this was certainly amusing, I'm not sure how well it could be expanded. Jeeves is at his best when he's contrasting with Bertie. Playing his calm, intelligence, and efficiency vs Wooster's excitability, laziness, and idiocy. Twilight might be a bit neurotic at times, but she's by no means stupid and certainly not lazy. The formula would be Twi getting into a panic over something minor, Jeeves gives her his concoction, and suddenly you have 2 calm, collected geniuses working on the problem. It's almost like… :rainbowderp: like their personalities… mesh… too well… :duck: Is Jeeveslight a thing? Because it could be.

The biggest difficulty with injecting Jeeves into this situation is that his primary function is to preserve his job, and pay increases, by preventing any of Bertie's harebrained schemes from failing too badly; and in particular, to keep Bertie from accidentally getting married.

But... Twilight isn't enough of a prizewinning dimwit to be a good Wooster. I acknowledge that she's impulsive, silly, given to a certain lack of logical thought, and slightly helpless in social circumstances... Alright she'll do. However, she lacks aunts who eat beer bottles, and doesn't need to avoid marriage, help other avoid/enter marriage, or commit acts of theft/con-artistry/fraud, so what possible need could she have for a Jeeves?

7562445 But what of all those times she needs to save the world, but forgot to bring a change of clothes:trollestia:

Interesting start, not bad, but it's got one fatal flaw... Jeeves is a gentleman's gentleman. Twilight is not a gentleman, she is a princess. Princesses get a personal maid. But do not fret, Now that Twilight is a princess that does technically level up Spike by association. Might I suggest that Jeeves be assigned to Spike? Spike could be the perfect Bertie Wooster while Jeeves attempts to make a proper gentle-dragon out of him, and secure his job by making sure Spike doesn't get himself into complications. :raritywink:
