I really think this could work, The premise of this story is really interesting but the only thing I want to know is, Why did you also bring Cynder and Spyro? Are you pairing them too?

it is ganna be hard to mistake the two if that is what you are going for.

Spyro has horns, wings, his spine scales are yellow while Spike's is green

so Cynder wouldn't mistake them if that is where you wanted to take this

Prior Note: After looking up for characterization purposes I’ve found Cynder is actually very dark violet (almost black but not quite) so I’ll be making a few changes when I can.

Well technically, Cynder was originally black. She only became that dark violet color after Activision took over the Spyro franchise.

I'm going to assume that since this is supposed to be the Skylanders version of Cynder (and I like how you've personified her and integrated her Legend of Spyro backstory into a Skylanders form) that this is also your interpretation of a Skylanders version of Ember as well. If so, I like how you've managed to create her personality. I also like that you pointed out that Ember is like the dragon version of Pinkie Pie. I also assume that's how you created her personality for this story.

Something tells me that Ember and Pinkie are going to get along great with each other.

Exasperated statement; Apparently Fluttershys limitless fear robs her of inteligence and/or common sense at times.

Nice to see Spyro's finally awake, I was starting to think he'd remain unconscious through the entire story. For some reason Ember rubs me the wrong way, not quite sure why but maybe it's because she's pink. (I kid, the few seconds of her I ever saw made her seem too submissive.)

And I was fully expecting Spyro to say that being summoned to another world against his will "Isn't exactly new." However, the story said something about the Skylands correct? Considering Cynder didn't pop up 'till the second Spyro and Ember only appeared in games with the original, I have no idea which one he is. Is he the one from the Insomniac games, the ones where Cynder was introduced or Skylanders?

Or something completely separate, a timeline specifically created for this story?

Ok time to clear a few things up before I confuse everyone

The story is set after the events of dawn of the dragon (Spyro and Cynder are together, Cynder has been forgiven for what she did etc.) and the existance of the Skylands is known but the two aren't really skylanders as of yet. Now although I'm not basing it on the Skylands series I have taken bits and pieces (Cynders attacks and backstory for instance) for use here and there

Now here is where I need to clarify two major diversions that a lot of you are getting confused with.

Cynder's behavior: Although Cynder does become likeable and playful in Dawn of the Dragon (off the top of my head...it's been a while) I'm sticking predominatly to her not-so-nice side for a while (sarcastic, moody, doesn't like being told what to do etc.) simply because having three 'nice' dragons just doesn't make sense to me.

Ember: I know Ember doesn't appear in later games with Cynder so I'm basing their relationship on their polar attitudes (Ember is rather gentle and a bit of a 'follower' while Cynder is a 'don't get in my way' type) with Spyro caught in the middle as a bit of moderator for the two. Also in game Ember's (or rather Tara Strong's) voice gave her impression of being fragile; I'm going with the idea Ember's grown up some just as Spyro has, so she is a bit more confident in herself and her voice is closer to Twilight's own.

To sum it all up this is realistically a mixture but is based after dawn of the dragon, I hope that clears up a few things but if your confused and want an answer just ask.

I blame Fluttershy for everything that happened in this chapter... and Thunderlane 'cause he's an idiot, but also think I'm missing something regarding Caramel. However, being a big brother myself, I can completely understand Big Macs thought process.

Having never looked into Skylanders (Spyro's new look in the commercials completely threw me off) I don't really know much about Ember, or any other changes the game may have introduced.

One thing I'd like to know, however, is why I never hear anything about the original Spyro games. You know, Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's rage, etc... Those were some of the games that put the Playstation on the map! Heck, I'd still be playing them if my TV wasn't too good for that old stuff.

I'll admit (in my opinion anyway) the original games were more enjoyable (I still have Spyro the dragon actually), maybe it was because i was young and hence only cared about the fun of the game rather then the plot, but I digress. With this fic I'm staying with the later games just because (In theory) more readers would know about the recent ones then the older ones, although I might have Spyro mention his early adventures at some point
