Heh, good story man! Let me just say it was a good call giving the explanation for the increased magnitude of Trollestias You gave just the right amount in showing how this may have been possible, but not bore us to the back button.

Only thing that I doubt is all of ponydom (Or at least Luna and the HElements of armory) allowing the Discordid Celestia to keep power... Hmm, or maybe the sun raising had something to do with that. But still, I think they may have given up too easily.

I'm pretty sure you got what you intended from writing this story. Namely, people feeling very sorry for the ponies. Especially Fluttershy.
