You know Luna wasn't trustworthy to be brought with you. You warned her, yes, but she would've rebelled in an alternative anarchy, probably against you. She did the same to her sister. And though she was in your position, she was in it for bad reason. You would've had a better reason and the reason probably shouldn't have put you in jail. You would've been worthy as to be released into a world which had better purpose for you, like taking down a truly unjust government.

Do it, but i would pick a canon ending and a alternate and work with only the canon to reduce the amount of effort on your part trying to keep 2 different story lines going.

In all honesty I thought this was already finished.

It's all up to you. I'm pretty sure we would all be interested to see more, but the only real advice you can trust is your own gut feeling. If there's things you'd like to do with it and you know the story would stay as good as it is, go ahead. But if you're feeling like all it could do is hurt the story, don't continue.

Considering it leaves a huge gap for a sequel, you probably should continue it.
