A year has passed since the fateful night - and day - of Luna's return. Regret and insecurity plague her still, but slowly and surely, she is getting better. A sister's love proves itself a treasure in trying times.

Patience, forbearance and a sense of humour to brighten dark moods help, too.

Eeei.... Very much enjoyed this. I'm a big fan of portrayals of Luna and Celestia with a focus on their sister dynamic. Can see a good deal of my own relationship with my sister between them.

Both were characterized beautifully and true to how I imagine they would act in the situation presented here—which, might I add, was an amusing surprise when I got to the reveal of what Luna was upset about.

Loved it!

Ahh, that hit the spot. Who doesn't like little windows into the day-to-day of Two Best Sisters?

This was especially charming! I believe I most loved this passage:

Luna shivered imperceptibly with shame and delight before she even turned to greet her sister. It was the way Celestia seemed so genuinely pleased to see Luna each and every time they met, day in and day out, even if they had only separated for a moment or an hour. It was as if Luna brightened Celestia’s world like her own sun brightened everypony elses’. In turn, that brightened Luna’s. Luna felt incredibly loved, but undeserving of it.

Nice, feel good stuff... Thanks for writing it!

Daaw...
I was looking for something cute when this did show up.
Thank you.

Awww... my heart...

Look there, it's my heart, all melted in a puddle...

That was great.

“Oh,” said Celestia, and in that one innocent syllable half the shadows seemed to vanish. “Here you are, sister.”

I also particularly liked this bit. Given the length of Luna's absence, I could see Celestia reacting like this for a fairly long time to come.

The "SPF" of this story is almost dangerously high. A very cathartic and cute story- I particularly liked Celestia's tongue-in-cheek diatribe on the various "Evil Celestia" names. Sun Burn really is a pretty good villain name XD

Awwwwww! That was so beautifully sweet! :raritystarry:

Nopony gives hugs like Celestia. No pony.

Haha! "a younger Hoof". :rainbowlaugh: I really enjoyed your take on Celestia's humor throughout this story, and you captured her regal gentleness wonderfully too. You also well conveyed how Luna's displeasure could be more than a little intimidating to the average pony, and the idea that the sisters could alter time perception to have a much needed moment away from prying eyes was a stroke of genius! :raritywink: This was a lovely read! Thanks so much for sharing!

This was excellent! You nailed both Luna and Celestia perfectly. Their interactions are great and the story has such a neat setup and charming conclusion. I disliked absolutely nothing about this. Well done!
