Still better than Ultima 8 and 9

I've been looking for an Ultima crossover here for-fucking-ever!  I'm adding this to my read later list.

I just got the game free from GoG, I shall read this while i play.

He has done an entire Retrospective of the entire series. Here's a link for it. He'll explain in the first part of the Ultima 9 Retrospective about how the development staff was pulled to complete Ultima 9. Any by the time they got back, they had to do everything from scratch. EA also muddled with the staff so much that they had all new people working on Ultima 9. EA is also responsible for Ultima 8 sucking. Check out his videos, he'll explain it all.

But I enjoyed playing as the bad guy for once , granted killing children would probably make less people want to read your story, so I understand the necessary changes.

As for Ultima 9, don't rewrite it, show to the readers how bad it actually was story wise Show them how inconsistent and dumb the whole thing felt like. But again, it is your story, you should write what you feel most comfortable with

But I think that the line: "The Codex of Ultimate Wisdom? "  is by far the worst line in video game history

I mean, that right there was what made me return the game to the store. Ultima 8 was bad (Spoony made it look worst than it actually was), but at least it didn't just tell you to go screw yourself .

I don't know whether to love you, or to despise you for the rest of eternity for using my idea.......

Know what? Ill love you, seeing as i've got a VERY different trick up my sleeve.

Ps. I grew up with the Ultima games, played EVERY one (including the unspeakable abominations, though i do agree with critic, killing kids was kinda fun....). I shall judge this with the Iron Fist of childhood fan-boyness.
