Melanie is a young woman alone on a starship sailing through the vast reaches of space. To combat her loneliness, the ship has been equipped with a digital overlay and force-feedback system so she can create an endless amount of worlds (in a finite space) populated by the pony characters she holds so dear.
One such digital being, Starlight Glimmer, has a 10-year anniversary coming up. Melanie and her friends are planning a party for her. Along the way, Melanie shifts through the digital worlds she has created and meets friends which only her force-feedback suit allows her to see.

This is an interesting story prompt. I rather like it, and wonder if there is more that would come from the scenario that is functionally unscripted or if it would just be a glimpse into the protagonist's life as she fights of insanity with the help of AIs.

Thank you! I can definitely say that her emotional well-being is very important here since she is, for all intents and purposes, without any human contact. What a strange situation it might be to walk in on her and see her talking to essentially...no one anyone else can see.
