Oh, how I love DF. Too bad I can't play it very well. Still, nothing beats having a max level in Throwing and flipping a coin at someone, decapitating them. And keep the status notices at the start of each chapter. They're... nice.

ok just read all 7 chapters and i can see a good story going on here, and on your DF note yes i know there's alot of people who still play it, im just saying that its been so long since its been first released XD
I played through for a good ten hours or so using a handy tutorial someone made up. It was pretty darn fun, but the lack of an interface made it too tough for me to figure out, really.
About the story: There is a story. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is encrusted with gold and copper. On the item is an image of a pony and a dwarf.
P.S. I'd personally like some mention of the bane of Dwarfkind's existance known as Carp. Carp killed more of my poor dwarves than goblins, those hippy elves, and lava combined.
