How does a crippling injury end up making her disloyal?

Sure, it makes her cutie mark invalid because no more sonic rainbooms, and we all know how much she likes doing sonic rainbooms, but now I'm glued to this story wondering how it will be possible that her wings being broken makes her any less of a friend.

Is this universe slightly different than the canon universe in terms of the Royal Wedding? Because Chryssy seems to be pretty pissed at Twilight and Twilight especially, she may have exposed her and helped rescue Cadance... but ultimately it was Shining and Cadance that defeated her...right?

Well...this is a sequel to another story I wrote, and there are hints to it throughout this, if that's what you mean. Reading the first isn't really necessary to get the gist of this one though.

Shadow's a cool guy, I'm liking him so far... and steadily losing respect for the woefully inexperienced Equestrian Medical system.... an element of harmony... that big of trauma... and they don't notice her foreleg is dislocated

Everypony is screwing everything up around Scoots, including Scoots... and Chryssy is a pushover, even if Scootaloo was being possessed by the element

I prefer to think of Celestia and Luna as super-powerful god-like beings who could pretty much smash the heck out of any threat short of other god-like beings like Discord... which would include upstart possessed fillies and changelings. I realize it makes for difficult storytelling and not everybody chooses that as head canon, so whatever floats your boat, but personally I feel like the alicorns in your story (including I guess Chryssy) are way underpowered.
