Why is everything in italics? No matter, this was a very fulfilling chapter. However, you're making G-Man into a villain. He's really more of a mysterious anti-hero. (Anti-hero and villain are actually different! Logic, right?)

Haha, you can blame that on the bbcode parsing as well. Current one doesn't properly close tags at the end of stories, thus it all staying italics into the comments section. Rewriting the parser is one of the things the FimFiction guys are working on, though.

Hey, in the area where Celestia wakes up, you messed up a (It has a space to look like [/i ]) and the italics continued throughout the rest of the chapter. You should really fix that. It's annoying.

In regards to the Combine traveling between dimensions, that's exactly how they reached Earth. Because of the experiments done by Black Mesa into understanding Xen, the Vortigaunts home world. This attracted the attention of the Combine who had already enslaved the Vortigaunts and currently control a massive multidimensional empire. The only reason that the Combine is getting kicked out off Earth is due to the collapse of their own super portal, which was permanently closed at the end of Episode 2.

The G-Man is understandably interested in the Pony world though, as he was already interested with Earth before the Black Mesa Incident, and does have the ability to jump between various dimensions, from what we've seen of him so far.

If only Half-Life: Episode 3 was going to be this good.  Someone should make a mod so that it's the exact same thing as this story (though I'm pretty sure a lot of people will hate.)

It is good, very good. But I think, that when nopony miss whole famaly it is kind of strange
