Romance Sad

~~Written for the /fic/ writing prompt thing~~

While trapped in a stone casing, there isn't much else to do but think. I like to think that's what Celestia was trying to do, give me time to think. When she trapped me in here she wanted me to understand something, and I did. Love is cruel. I had been placed here out of spite, to stare at the darkness that once consumed my soul. But that's all gone now. Sometimes, when you burn the bridge that brought you to the other side of the lake, you don't think about ever needing to get back to the side you came from. Until you're forced to.

A/N: To be honest, this fic kinda sucks. It was written an hour before submission date, doesn't have much thought put into it, and is overall just bad. I'm submitting it anyway, because I don't like wasting things I write. And, sigh, I wrote this so I might as well submit it.
