Author's Notes: I dealt with something similar to what Rarity had in this story several weeks ago and got the inspiration to write this when I had the time to do so. Now that I have the time, voila! A short story.

Aw, this is a sweet little oneshot, and it stays true to the ideals of the show.
Poor Rarity.
Kin means family its not a southern dialect of can. Don't say he or she say them. You can bring them a gift, entertain them, etc
Also the idea of Spike not being there threw me off, this is Rarity were talking about and he is the love sick dragon Spike. Although he didn't get invited to Twilight's birthday either... that still pisses me off.
Outside of that a nice one-shot slice of life, particularly liked the hat tip to Fluttershy's sewing know how.
Cute story, although a bit short. It felt a little... well, not pointless, because I see your point, but for me, it was too short to really transfer the feeling. Still, sweet story, and I see you honored your readers by weeding out the grammar mistakes (or haven't even made any on the first place). I always appreciate that.
I enjoy this kind of little slice-of-life story. It was cute, it was nicely done. Every story doesn't have to be epic or mind-bending, after all.
Aww! This story was so adorable and sweet (or rather the friendship moments were, the nausia....is what it is) It would have been nice to have it be just the tiniest bit longer, not because there's really anything missing, but the second half is that charming....I admit, I can't resist these sort of "Everyone coming together to help one character who is in a bad situation" stories
By the way, where did you find a colour version of your cover picture? I've only seen the lineart version

765323 I did an image search on Google using 'sick Rarity' and this was one of the first things that came up. I believe you can find it on EQD under Drawfriend set 95, #7 in the list. I didn't find the artists name, so I couldn't truly give credit there... but yeah, that's where it came from.
