Good fic. I would point out that, if you accept Hasbro's statement that the 1st 3 seasons took place over 1 year, The Crystal Empire occurred about a year ago. Even if you don't, it was not so long ago that she would have forgotten life under Sombra. In short, this probably isn't the worst thing to ever happen in her life.
You want an idea for an AU? Try this: Everyone assumes Flurry Heart is good, but clueless. That is, she wasn't trying to hurt anyone. What if Flurry was evil & WAS trying to hurt some one?
