I liked it, It's always great to see a Spike-centric fic because sometimes he actually gets more screen time than some of the mane six and had three episodes in season 2 with him as the focus. You do bring up something very few writers bring up and that is Spike is flightless because any version of him we see in the show whether it's a spell going wrong, a day dream fantasy or greed growth, Spike never has wings. I actually enjoy friend-shipping between Rainbow and Spike, they share a lot of the same personality traits.

I think the problem with the title is that we are so used to authors censoring "fuck" with "buck" which makes absolutely so sense because it makes what Applejack does for a living seem awkward...as this comic will explain.

"Secret of My Excess" aka the birthday greed episode and okay in the episode "It's About Time" he got a lot of screen time. so it was more like 2 3/4th episodes in season 2.
This was great! But I would recommend listening to holiday by green day while reading.

Thank you! Yeah, I thought they'd be a great pair. I did think about Fluttershy taking him on a nice, short flight, but Dash has more of a kick and their personalities mesh so much better. Plus, I just love writing Rainbow Dash.

Dash was rather sudden about it... but you know what? It fits, it really fits Dash's personalitly. I think the Dash droping Spike bit though is rather extreme. I mean sure Dash is a real daredevil of a pony but I don't think she'll do something like THAT on their first flight.
Still, Spike's reactions to everything and Twilight's reaction when she found out about it all fitted together very well. Though the story seems rather short and abrupt. It seems to me that it could do with a bit of expanding and making it flow more. You go from one thing to another a bit too quickly in my opinion.
Would be nice to see a sequal where there do 'touch the stars' or Spike get's to experaince the Sonic Rainboom... and/or when Twilight accepts it or maybe even encourages it. Hell she might even point out that Dash practicing while she has a passanger will actually make her a better flyer.

Very pleasantly descriptive. Although I'm not sure why Twilight was so freaked out. I'm pretty sure Spike reached terminal velocity that time he belly flopped into the lava. Like an ant, I believe he cannot be damaged by the impact of a fall from any height.

Full review here, but in brief: pretty convincing as a depiction of 2012-vintage Dashie. I really didn't like her dropping Spike, though; that seemed over the line separating impulsive from plain nasty.
