Sonata Dusk used to have friends. The Dazzlings hung out together all the time and told her what to do, and that's what friends are, right? She has Taco Tuesdays, though, and listening outside the chorus room is pretty cool. But Sunset Shimmer keeps looking at her funny, and oh crap, she's going to interrupt taco time.

It was weird.
It was random.
I LOVE IT! :raritystarry:

Also tacos. :pinkiecrazy:

That was fun and I enjoyed reading it.

Bizarre and surreal at times and heart-warming at others. This is a lovely post-RR story that really managed to parody the clichés in a good way and yet still be satisfying in its conclusions and its outcomes.

The story of Luna's not-so-hard time and how she insisted on 'playing the role' even though she was probably not even a 'prisoner' in the strictest sense of the word was hilarious. I also liked how you nicely caught Sonata's idiot-savant nature. She isn't 'dumb', but she isn't wired up like most girls and has her own unique talents and perspectives.

Of all the Nightmare Moon versions of human Luna, yours is by far the best.

Very good, I laughed a lot when I read how weak the prison was in comparison to what I thought. Sonata is done really well, because she does seem like the type to go with the flow and not understand all the things she does. The little, excited Sunset Shimmer parts were cute as well.

The last thing at the end was a little weird, but it didn't hamper my enjoyment of the story. Good job.

Yay, it's finally up! :D

That was a lot weirder than I was expecting. Sunset was adorable. Take your thumbs up.

I confess I did giggle. That was fun, not to mention a nice characterisation for Sonata.

Great story! :scootangel:
But I keep facepalming when Sunset's like, "Friendship points here I come!":ajbemused: Does she not get that you can't pressure someone into becoming friends with others? I see Twi's having an effect on her.:trixieshiftright:

Next time, Luna teaches Sonata how to make toothbrush-shanks. :pinkiecrazy:

... Now I want to see a sappy continuation where Luna adopts Sonata. Thanks.

Love the narration, especially at the beginning with the tacos. Great version of Sonata, and a hilarious version of comedy Nightmare Moon.

This was adorable, in a weird way. But I choose to focus on the adorable, especially when it involves a happy Sonata. :pinkiehappy:

This is so good!!! Take a thumbs up!!!

And yeah, if I were Sonata, and I found out Luna created taco Tuesday's, I would without question befriend her :)

Oh hey, I remember this one from the Writeoff!

Human Luna headcanon accepted. :pinkiecrazy:

6786149 Sorry I removed the meta jokes that (I think) you liked, but seems like most people didn't, and those things tend not to age well or keep being funny on a second reading.

makes me wonder if the other sirens will come back and be taught by sonata X3

anyway really fun story to read! glade i read it!

I like your take on Sonata. Just like the story, it was weird and a bit out there but also quite enjoyable.

This is so amusingly crazy… :pinkiecrazy:

The Vice Principal Luna bits were a bit too out there for me. Would've rather you took things a bit further. Like she got jail time for something a bit more serious then assault on her sister...Beyond that though this was very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Liked the idea of Sonata as a choir conductor, that worked well, glad she was able to find some happiness in the end.

I enjoyed this portrayal of Luna.
