This story takes place in The Lunaverse. After a particularly random day, Cheerilee calls for a Parent Teacher conference. Hilarity ensues.
But what will come of the conference? How badly will Scootaloo be punished? Will Cheerilee be able to relax? Find out inside!
Howdy friends. Yet another Lunaverse for you all. Anyway, this time around we follow around Cheerilee as she becomes a butt monkey for the universe. Fun, right?
I'd like to give a VERY special thanks to Emeral Bookwise. Without him, this story quite literally would not exist as it does right now.

Yes! It's finally up. Been reading the test chapter of this for quite awhile. I'll get back and edit this post as soon as I have time to read this completed version. Busy editing GOtL with proofer advice right now though. Just had to pop over and congratulate BB on finally having it ready to go.
Edit: Yes, yes, yes! 
After having seen that opening go though at least two nascent forms, the completed vision is everything I could hope for and more. Also, I'm quite pleased to see my suggestion that Heavy should have a brother named High got taken. Wasn't expecting to see it show up where it did, but the mental recitation of his will was wonderful comedy.
Other than that, all the hijinks that led to Cheerilee's present state were all quite entertaining. Still a little skeptical about Scootaloo enjoying liquid rainbow as a dipping sauce, but I'll give it a pass on rule of funy.
Oh and thanks for the shout out inregards to the help I provided, though I'll repeat what you once told me. All I did was open a door, you're the one who stepped through that door and kicked ass while doing it.
Cheerilee and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
She's using her wings for propulsion, and using the slick nature of the mud to her advantage to drive the surfboard further. Perhaps I shoulda explained that better in the story.
crack fic? I actually tried to avoid that...
I mean, it's no more cracky than Feeling Pinkie Keen or It's About Time.
Finally got the time to give this a proper read, and added my thoughts to my previous post.
I'd be disapointed to see this lost to the non-canon bin. Yeah, it's got lots of silly over the top comedy, but I'd think my Boast Busted side story was more of a crack fic than this. I'd hope you could maybe at least work with BB a little. Give him some advice on what's crossing the line so he can maybe smooth over any parts that are bothering you.
Hmmm. This could just as easily have happened in the Celestiaverse. The only difference is that here in the Lunaverse, Cheerilee has the added burden of having to live up to her elemental nature and laugh off the damage Cute Clumsy Filly is doing to her. After all, she could be doing it on purpose, right?
The same could largely be said about Family Matters. Other than Trixie's background antics, there really wasn't all that much exclusively Lunaverse to it.
That said, BB, you need to be careful here. This story is at risk of being a little too generic. Make sure to at least through in some token nods in later chapters that firmly establish this as set in the Lunaverse.
Liking this so far. Only real thing is I wish we could have heard more of Trixie's lesson about the Night Court, I always love to see takes on world-building, especially in alt universe stories where you don't have to worry about a future ep coming along and showing everything you came up with was wrong...
Have I mentioned lately how much help I've gotten with this story? No? Than lemme talk about that.
I basically hand off a bunch of crap to Emeral Bookwise, and he gives me feedback which somehow turns my crap into this story that you read.
You doods should be thanking him as much as you thank me, cause heaven knows the first draft of this stuff was nowhere near as good as this.
Also, updated the character tags for obvious reasons....man, first I put Cheerilee through than the ringer, than I force Scootaloo to hang out with DT....
not to mention mentally scarring Trixie in my last story....
Is it just me, or do I enjoy messing with the main characters of my stories?
I hinted it in "Family Matters," a bit, when Diamond Tiara got all defensive about how she doesn't want to be anything like Scootaloo - while turning bright red.
I dunno; in all honesty the ship never even occured to me until I had already written the line down and thought to myself "Hey...yeah!" Those are probably the best kinds of ships.
Plus this one's so cute 'cause we get tsundere out of it. And, hey, you know that "grimdark" thread we have going? There could be a yandere DT grimdark story.
Well this story did have Trixie as a guest lecturer at the school talking about Night Court stuff.
Also, this wouldn't be the first fic that could be M!verse with a few tweaks either. Other than Trixie's background antics Family Matters has very little that is specifically bound to the L!verse.

Anyway, glad to finally see this up and looking more polished than ever.
I'll repeat one thing from our back and foreths for public record: I find your interpretation of DT's cutie mark interesting and a fair bit better than the way far too many other folks who just assume her talent is being a spoiled snob. I may have my own personal idea on what her talent should be, but just like I didn't much care fore the Tsundere stuff at first, you've managed to make it all compelling enough that I can't really argue the point. Please keep it all up, and don't let anyone say you're wrong.
Oh, and I really want me some of that Rainbow Choclate, it just sounds so Super Ultra Extreme Awesomazing!! 
Gonna guess that this DT is the one we're going with, Blackbelt? I had some ideas about something I wanted to do with Dinky getting roped into a locked room story with her and they learn something from one another, but I guess I can push it back or adapt it to Silver, since she needs more love, right?
Oh, this is so adorably cute! I love the conflict in Diamond Tiara, between her spoiled upbringing, the business savvy her father presumably taught her, her unwillingness to drop her mean façade, and her massive crush on Scootaloo. Scootaloo is cute here too, and the speculation from the other adults is amusing.
This chapter took far too long to get out. I hope the wait was worth it.
Anyway, remember Cheerilee? She was kinda the star of this fic before the Scootiara Power Hour started, but she's back in the spotlight and OUT FOR BLOOD!!!!
May Luna have mercy on anyone who gets in her way.
And may Luna have mercy upon Scootaloo and Diamond Tiara, who draw an apology card, completely unaware of what's happening.

So many ideas that I've proposed over on the boards come screaming into canon at once; I could not be happier. I said it privately while pre-reading, now I'll say it again for the whole world to hear, I love you man! 
Also, CT and BP total misinterpreting Cheerilee and HR's relationship is totally amazing. Reading it again though, I sorta wish it could have gone on longer and gotten even more awkward, but it's probably best that it didn't overstay its welcome either. Plus there's still the potential for Lyra and BonBon to get in on the act I guess. 
I think we all did, but it really was overtaking the original plot. All things in moderation and such. I think a bit of back and forth between the two plot lines, before it all come crashing together spectacularly, will do this fic a whole world of good.
Well Scoots does look up to RD as the ideal role model, seems only natural she'd seek to emulate that trait as well.
Well, now that we've got the this out of the way, we're gonna return to the ScooTiara Power Hour soon, right? It would only be logical, since, presumably, the next part of Cheerilee's subplot consists of just looking for Scootaloo and Tiara, whereas the ScooTiara Power Hour , if continued, consists of Helga-Style Tiara, and Scootaloo slowly befriending Tiara, which would be more interesting.
Upon leaving, an old stallion in the back began to applaud. "BRAVO! BRAVO! Dinner theater is such a fine thing!"
And that sir, was pure gold.
Since that's canon now, I wonder if it was just as awkward for Iron Will?
When L!Iron Will comes to L!Ponyvile, will his interaction with Cheerilee consist of them both not looking at each other as awkwardly as possible?
While I liked this chapter, 2 little things kinda sorta didn't feel like they work, namely DT apologizing like that felt incredibly forced, while those back story elements of Cheerilee just felt helicopter dropped into the story. Especially the hint that she had a fling with Iron Will. Still, I enjoyed it.

I'm glad that line got a laugh. It was honestly the first thing to come to mind when I was deciding how to finish the chapter.
Really? I mean, you saw how much of a struggle it was for DT to even say that. As for the Cheerilee stuff...Well, her relationship with Berry was decided a LONG time ago. One of the Lunaverse authors (me) just finally got around to confirming it in a story. As for the minotaur thing....yeah, that was a very recent revekation I decided to throw in. Still, I think it's funny.
Poor CT. She's so nice that she can't death glare....

I got lots of snacks for what happens next.
Well, regardless of how that littke reunion goes, heaven knows it'll be funny.
oh, and btw, I'm hoping to have the next chapter done this weekend. I've been writing faster than usual lately, and I like it.

In all honesty, I think this is shaping up to be a very classic, and impressive, misunderstanding wreck.
Scenario with multiple interpretations as to motivation - Check
Well meaning friends with only some of the facts - Check
Apology attempts that can be completely misconstrued - Check
Ulterior motives on the part on one or more individuals - Check
Conclusions jumped to - Big Check
You know, I cam say that when I started writing this fic, I did not expect it to end like this. And honestly, I think what happened happened for the better.
I cannot thank the Lunaverse group enough for the contributions, wordsof encouragement, and really just existing.
But really, the one who deserves the most thanks is Emeral Bookwise. He preread everything, giving everything from grammar and spelling corrections to full blown ideas. And as I've said earlier, if it weren't for him, this story would not exist in the form it does. Thanks dood.
Wow! This has been one crazy ride, full of stuff I'd never really expected and was even a bit hesitant of. I mean, Scootiara, who'd have ever thought a crazy ship like that could actually work?
Still, considering where this fic started (not just the first chapter but the original draft that got scrapped), I'm simply amazed to see what it became. Having been rather closely involved with BB as he wrote and developed this story, I'm all the more thrilled and even a little proud to see it all warping up so nicely. I suppose part of me almost sad to see it all coming to a close, but well, all good thing must come to an end eventually, and at least we still have the talent show epilogue tie-in left to go.
Happy to have been whatever help I could be. I know I kinda chewed you out a bit when you first drafted this and I've likely been as much a pain as a help along the way, but you really have improved so very much and largely of you own accord. I may have shown you the way, but you're still the one stepped up your game and took it to that next level.
Huh. Scootatiara and TrixieXBourbon are now the L!verse canon ships.
Raindrops' line did make me think about whether Raindrops or Cheerilee would win in a fight. It would be pretty close, Cheerilee is skilled, but Raindrops has an extra pair of limbs and can probably take far more damge than Cheerilee. On the other hand, Raindrops is unlikely to go all out.
My reaction to the end:
This fic was awesome! And adorable. Scootaloo and Diamond Tiara kind of stole the show, but it was still great!
DT: "Scootaloo I have to tell you the truth, I love you!"
Scootaloo: "I have a secret to tell you as well DT..."
Good story! It seems like Cheerilee is the applejack of the lunaverse ( I think she's used the least out of the alternate mane 6). I also like how the lunaverse stories are working on creating more in depth characters for the other foals in Cheerilee's class.
That being said I don't want to be that guy, but I noticed an error in this chapter. In Diamond Tiara's letter she wrote
my house bright and early. And be for ready WORK.I assume you meant and be ready for work.
But all in all Keep up the good work!
