701838 It wasn't so much the pace of the chapter as how fast he went from zero to bad-ass. A bit much power a bit too fast for my taste. 'Tia forked over a pretty hefty bit of power when she always seemed to prefer to nudge others towards things - Hell, just sending him off to look for the guitar and empower it would have made a pretty bad-ass story, and seems more like a chess-game thing to do.
Instead it strikes me as Warhammer, where you Min-Max, drop something hefty on the field, and swing down.
What I am trying to say is that you pushed the character into 'awesome-town' far too fast for me to really buy into it. I really Dig the Idea though.
(Also, you are the second HiE Changeling Fic. I know of, but that has no bearing on this)

As for the scar? That prologue is 3 years in the future. For all I know, it'll NEVER be touched upon, our stories may well end before it hits that point.

In my story I was looking for an aspect of power for Celestia, I was going to use Twi but my story needs more changelings anyway, mind if I use Knightmare? I will give full credit to you and any other authors I use. The story is in its beginnings so even if you did say yes He wouldn't appear for a time anyway.
On another note: Between Knightmare, Griffon, and Disarray the universe is in for a hell of a time.

Also, if you still plan on using the Octavia possessed by Nightmare Moon idea, may I make a suggest for you to use Zeta instead of Griffin? The story is in the same universe, and Tavi has a huge reason to hate Zeta. Just food for thought (yes I shamelessly just advertised my story, but it is in the same universe as all the others.)

Hmm read the description, and know this is on my list of things to read. When I saw that there was a new story about a dragon turned into a human taking place in Rust's reality I knew it was only a matter of time for the human turned into a changeling to enter this growing group.
Dont ask me why, but I imagine him grabbing a guitar out of nowhere on the way down as the song kicks in.
