dang no more Excalibur prime being sold but all and all good fic
Interesting...
You have my attention.....
Was this inspired by my fic? Similar event's and you're using the primed version of the weapons I picked (except for the skana.)

Normally it's frowned upon to cheat using *text* but for Ordis' case I think it's appropriate. I believe it would flow better if you did it like this:
... wouldn't it be better to use Operator like ordis usually adresses the player in the game instead of "Excalibur this..... yes Excalibur. ...no Excalibur. " I get it you want to use Excalibur as you protagonist frame (not a bad choice to be honest, even if I prefer Nova prime)
Doesen't ordis call all tenno "Operator"?
Red....(sigh) the sad thing is I've seen your profile n warframe and I don't doubt you have every single one of those weapons. (sigh) the second thing...why you hatin on changelings bro?!?!
Nah, bruh. Use the Phaedra, the Soma's Big Sister.
1.) Ordis calls the Tenno (Player) Operator, not by their Warframe.
2.) I'm fairly certain the words 'Bro and Wicked' are not in the Tenno vocabulary.
3.) The only good thing i have seen so far is that you are using Excalibur, so i shall continue reading this until i decide to Like or Dislike this Story.
4.) If anyone wants to Dislike this Comment then do so, all it does is prove you know nothing of Warframe and are hating on me because i tried to correct someone on something you know nothing of.
Okay. This is literally the third time I'm writing this...
You clearly have not played the game enough to even know remotely what you're talking about, and it's obvious that you haven't even played The Second Dream, read the codex entries, or the Wiki.
First is short and sweet just so it doesn't seem like I didn't notice it as well, but Ordis calls the player "Operator". You'll understand why when you've played The Second Dream.
The Liset is not the ship you walk around in. It seems most people who play Warframe have no perception of volume so I will tell you that the ship you walk in is too big to be the Liset. What you're walking (or if you're like me: bullet jumping) in is called the Orbiter. It's a much larger ship that is permanently concealed in orbit and remains as the player's safe haven. The Liset or Landing Craft has no interior, all there is is the rotating cylinder with the Warframe-shaped hole in it.
The reason most players don't know this is the mentioned lack of inability to perceive how big something is and that the game doing a shit job of even acknowledging the Orbiter, as well as the Orbiter's lovely bridge having a similar shape to the front of the Liset. This is likely because the Liset Landing Craft and the Orbiter are both Tenno designed.
Earth as we currently know it no longer exists. The mere existence of the Orokin is obscure enough, and get this, the Orokin even forgot about Earth, especially after they were done fucking it up. So how the fuck would a killing machine know about the US of fucking A if even Simaris couldn't know?
Warframes don't carry three different melee weapons, more does not equal better. So it's pretty fucking stupid for a "Space Ninja" to be weighing himself down with various sharp things that all do the same thing. When you end up getting yourself a good weapon in the game you will realise that you only ever use a primary or secondary, while your melee is used as an oversized letter opener.
Go play The Second Dream, realise that Tonkor is love, Tonkor is life, and grind void and derelict until you crumble before RNGesus like the pathetic sack of potatoes that you are.
EDIT: One more thing. Related to Earth being forgotten and the Orkin messing with nature. Horses don't exist and are forgotten along with everything else. So Excalibur and Ordis should have no clue about any of the flora or fauna.
made*
Not a bad fic.
As other people have pointed out, yes the landing craft and the orbiter are two different things. But I think I found a loop hole to bridge this plot hole. (Among others)
Since this is the FIRST tenno, he would probably have different equipment, stats, abilities, and scenario with the landing craft orbiter.
Since he was the first, he could have a landing craft that can double as the orbiter if we went slightly off of what was said his ship was and had it be something new or different. So that cleans up landing and orbiter craft.
With him having the primes, it makes sense because prime is early, and he is the first, so the time frame would fit. (Maybe?)
Equipping more than one melee, meh, so long as it's not the same type I won't complain because you can logically put on both. Though strategically, why, and would it really be of benefit?
and ordis calling his operator by name (is it really by name? Excalibur is the warframe model, is it named after the original tenno that probably designed it?) Could be explained by the fact that he was ordis's original owner and was treated differently?
As for him knowing about earth history, I'm not that far in yet to have a say in the lore part.
Over all, 7/10 for awesome fitting in how ordis broke and a good intro chapter. You also really saved yourself in my eyes by making it the first tenno so things could be different.
You may think of this

But I think of this

2 things I gotta say:
-Interesting start, got my attention!
-Venka prime... yeah, one day. xD
Okay did he really just say bro? Good lord why do people still use that ridiculous word? Also, what does he know about this conflict? You need to remember that he knows nothing about this planet or its inhabitants. For all he knows the changlings could be the ones defending themselves from the pony menace. Or perhaps he interrupted some custom he knows nothing about. He's doing exactly what he said he wouldn't do no even a paragraph earlier. Which is rushing into something he knows nothing about.

No idea bro.
7567753 Cool story bro

Tomorrow.
You might want to replace the Venka Prime picture with the actual Venka Prime, rather than the Venka. Also, use an image for Glaive Prime.

Also, the Day of the Dead Soma Skin makes it look like the normal Soma with decals, not the Soma Prime. The Prime looks different.

Here's an image of the Orbiter:

The picture on the front is Proto-Excalibur, here's Excal Prime. Link it in the chapter for people to see:
vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/warframe/images/2/2a/ExcaliburPrimeNewLook.png/revision/latest?cb=20141124023050
Sounds awkward. Change to this:
I saw… horses. No, they were smaller, perhaps ponies?
*Edit* After reading the chapter, I realized you used the Proto-Excal skin, based off of the armor of the first Tenno(not our tenno, but his name is Tenno) from DE's Dark Sector. Might want to make sure we know that immediately, otherwise I see an Excal Prime, not a Proto-Excal.
I would also make it clear that the Glaive Prime was actually the old Glaive from Dark Sector, the Proto Glaive.
Did... did he just friendzone Ordis?
They're not American. America doesn't exist
This Warframe story looks better than most others I've seen. (It's got over a 100 likes and the like to dislike ratio is over 5:1) And so far, I like it! Don't care if other people find issue with technicalities and game accuracy. You do you man, I'll sit here on my couch reading it and having a good time.
His name is actually Excalibur, huh?
I'll just leave it here
The first thing that came to mind...
https://m.Admittedly getting back into this story so I restarted it. I was wondering if you were going to introduce the main story and lore into this, and if so, at what point in the questlines did this Excalibur deviate?
9593624
Main lore? Not really? I guess... I'm not really addressing much of that here. There is mentions here and there, but it's not a main aspect. This takes place after The Natah Quest but before The Second Dream when everything starts from Chapter 1.
I like this one already.
Uhhh...
Or is is the ship. Excal's ship. Why does Excal's ship want to kill him?
Rereading this story after a long while and the most insane thing about this chapter is that he got fucked over and couldve been blasted i to space dust for going after a fucking Curia. They're neat sure, but unless you're a lore fanatic there's not much that's special about them. The only thing I really bothered to remember about them is each has a tiny portion of a poem or something by a famous individual and one segment explains how the Grineer Queens were twins born to nobility or something in the Orokin and because of superstition were despised by the Orokin and treated like trash, and after the Orokin fell they ran into what would become the Grineer and somehow rose to lead them.

You should hear what the Background Radiation says. It's a riot.
like this so far
Hate to be a buzzkill but I don't think hyperdrives exist in the Warframe universe, not in their typical pop culture form anyways.
The void jump tech of ships like the Zariman that bridged the gap between galaxies in mere weeks have been out of fashion for well over a thousand years, lost with the fall of the orokin.
The solar rail junctions seem to act as permanent instant-travel portal gates between their respective planets.
The line "enemy crewships have translated into this sector" implies some mode of travel that allows certain classes of ships to blink across the system, possibly at or slightly below the speed of light.
I don't think grineer galleons have any of these, "kicking up dust all the way from Venus to Pluto" does not imply something moving with great expedience.
And let's be honest many of the grineer ships are just hollowed out asteroids with some engines strapped on
