Thistle Charm

T

Charlie finally started having pony dreams. She slogs through her days of snippy co-workers, online classes, and a roommate from hell, always reminding herself that Equestria awaits in her dreamland. But when she starts waking up to pieces of her dreams, she can't be sure where the line of sleep, wake, real, and fake exist -- and she'll need to find that line to save her own life.

This was... interesting, to say the least. It's not often you come across a HIE fic (well, pseudo-HIE) written by someone with a decent grasp of grammar. Not that it was perfect, though: there were a few instances where the tense felt a bit iffy and commas seemed to break out from their cages and frolic freely across the page.

Ignoring that, though, I am interested in where you'll be taking this. Are you planning on flicking between Equestria and Earth continuously or having an inception-like 'we need to go deeper' approach?

Dang, this idea was floating around in my head as well but I had no balls to do it T_T On my to read list.

Oh, there's plenty of invoicing to do in Equestria. It's just all done by ponies with invoice cutie marks.

I am not planning on having an inception-esque plot line, despite the presence of trains in Equestria. I will be switching back and forth from Earth to Equestria throughout the story. And as for the grammar issues, I guess that's what happens when only one pair of eyes proofreads right after writing it...if you can ever point out tense issues, comma splices, or places in need of punctuation, I would appreciate it greatly!

This has potential. (Although I'd bet the roommate's voice is 10 db louder, not higher.)

I think I'll track this and see where it goes.

moar please :fluttercry:
