This is wonderful. I'd die to see this become an actual episode with these six just going around like this trick or treating in an episode that focused on the group. This was a lot of fun, glad you felt like writing something simple and fun. It was a real pleasure reading this one.

One more thing about this story: I don't think the other fillies need to get too concerned about ONE supposedly 'mean' comment from DT.

Sounds like a cliche of Queen Majesty. Yes she was surprisingly ruthless for a loving queen in stories meant for little girls, but at least her actions were always directed towards bad guys. Her one nasty act towards her own ponies I think was transplanting some crab-apple trees from under the sea, to discourage AJ from taking free samples from the orchard or the like I think.
6607626 My perception of Majesty was primarily informed by the excellent Paleo Print's Doctor Whooves and the Mind of Majesty, as I thought it showed an excellent character study of someone with casual access to wish magic.
Immediately when I read that, I knew it's Ruby.
Odd how you mixed real Equestria with a fan-made game here. Applebloom, the REAL Applebloom, had never such experiences in her life, after all, and Ruby doesn't exist in her world.
It's an interesting idea, though, especially how you made a connection between her and Diamond Tiara. So interesting that I wish you had given Ruby a longer time in this fic and expanded on her and Diamond Tiara's relationship. Her appearance is quite short and doesn't add all that much to the story.
Still, due to bringing in a completely fan-made game, this would really warrant an Alternate Universe tag here.
Also, there is one grave mistake I found:
A weird, non-equestrian holiday called "Halloween" had snucked itself in here.
And I love it how you wrote it realistically, that Diamond Tiara has to get accustomed to her new behavior and that she has problems to let it go after acting like this for her whole life.
That was such a cute story.

Love seeing Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon hang out with the CMC like this. This is a great story solely because of that fact, but the fun moments and references make it even better than great.
I also realized something recently: Derpy dressed up in paper bags/cardboard boxes in Luna Eclipsed? I think she was actually trying to dress up as a package, because of her being a mail pony!
So anyway, I read about The Story of the Blanks upon finding out where Ruby came from. Not a game I'd ever play (can't stand gore), but I got interested in the story itself and would like to see more Ruby (and Mitta too).
I also started thinking about what caused Sunny Town's curse, and had a wild theory: it was Discord, before Celestia and Luna turned him to stone. I mean what happened to that town was, to put it bluntly, chaotic. And despite all the stunts and tricks Discord's pulled I think he's above the idea of killing others, especially since he wants an audience for his chaos and killing others would create a smaller audience. Maybe he would also hate to see others get killed. So upon seeing the town brutally murder Ruby just for getting a Cutie Mark, Discord might've lost his temper and decided to teach the town a lesson by forcing them into reliving the party for eternity. The whole 'zombie' thing could've be a side-effect from the ponies being forced to relive the party even after death, or maybe Discord did that on purpose and banished them into the Everfree Forest so they wouldn't harm other ponies (unless a pony happened to wander into the Everfree Forest and come across the town...).
Also, part of my theory is that the only way to break the curse is for the town to accept Cutie Marks and finally gain their own. That would be the sort of 'harsh lesson' Discord would do to someone....
