Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for.

This spoke volumes to me, and hit, perhaps, a bit too close to home. Very well done.

Wow. I love it. You have a really good word choice, and you play with that strength. You deserve a like and a fav. :pinkiehappy:

Wow. That was beautiful. Amazing job.

Thanks for making me cry at work...:fluttercry:

Honestly though this was a very emotionally powerful story.

Nice job :ajsmug:

"It's hard," Fluttershy murmured. "I know exactly how hard it is. You're... e-expecting it, someday, but when it actually h-happens, you still aren't ready. You want to feel your heart break, because this feeling of emptiness doesn't do it justice." She sniffled. "You can still cry, Applejack—trust me, you'll feel a little better when you do—but don't feel like you aren't hurting enough."

Nifty how it takes half a fic and a whole lot of inexplicable autumnal watercolor to land us at a piece of dialogue that hits so close to home it might as well be told that the house key's hidden beneath the welcome mat. Action Jackson ftw.

The buildup is well worth it. So many stories fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way tons and tons of paragraphs trying to say what this fic pulls off smexily in barely a page. Sometimes the best thing that needs being said is very little at all. Bless you, E-Cubed, and whoever/whatever else inspired this work of horsewordery because it surely exemplified a James Bond laser finite sense of poignancy , focus, and purpose.

My only complaint is that it could have used more fish, be they sunset colored or... eh, who am I kidding. Five haddocks out of five for you.
