Wow. I am nearly without words to describe this one-shot. I've seem works in wich Sci-Twi crushes hard on Sunset after the Friendship Games, but this may be the first story in wich the crushing become very unhealthy. Or at least the first one that I've read so far. While Sci-Twi being behind erverything was kinda predictable after the Sugarcube corner part, for a brief moment I thought that Midnight and Sci-Twi were two separete individuals and that Midnight was really in love with Sunset, while Sci-Twi couldn't control her alter ego.
The ending was heavy, but made sense and was good. Good job in writing it.
In conclusion: I really loved this story. Have my like and a fave.

A week later Princess Twilight comes and tells Sunset that after a strange dream(She was pulled into a human and Sunset kissed her) she started to have felling's for her.

Sighs While it a great story hate the ending feels incomplete, if Sunset can't give Twilight a chance for forgivness then it will have conquences, sucha s Twilight disppearing forever.
Such as leaving the school and her former friends forever, Apple Jack will see in the end Twilight was going to lose them anyways.
This could happen after Sunset able to get some rest and think and feel more calmly.

I've been craving some Sunlight recently, and while I have an abundance of fluffy, lighthearted fics, I wanted something darker, something that touched on both Sunset AND Twilight's "evil" sides. Like Windsor said, there are tons of fics where SciTwi is crushing on Sunset, cause let's be honest - there was some serious subtext in the movie. But I've only read one fic where its become an unhealthy obsession, and that fic is yours. It was a risky subject to write, but I think you executed it near-perfectly. Have a like and I'll be watching you.

I will not be fully satisfied until Twi and Sunset make up and make out.
Just a nitpick here. Wouldn't Sunset already know where the mythology section is? I would imagine at some point Sunset, reformation or not, got curious if there was any actual magic around and would have looked into it to see if this world was void of magic she could use or not.
Point is, I would think she would have known where it was by this point.
Beyond that, this was a very nice darker take on a Sunlight fic, and one whose resolution ultimately stayed true to Sunset and Sci-Twi's characters. I'm all for light hearted fluffiness from time to time, but darker takes are a welcome splash of spice in this niche. Let me say I think you had all the buildup you needed to reach this ending, and Sunset not throwing away the possibility of forgiveness but refusing to forgive Twilight this early on was such an interesting thing to read.
That being said, I'm still hoping they'll get together in the end because I'm a Sunlight shipper dammit and when they do it will be more genuine and heartfelt than most other depicted Sunlight relationships.
Overall I really liked this, and if you ever did want to write a sequel I'd just devour that as fast as you can write it.

I distinctly remember reading a discussion on the "Tragedy" tag because I wasn't sure if it it applied (I did have it on there though) and concluding that the story didn't meet based on what the site mod (and there was a mod in the discussion) was describing, which was more akin to a traditional Greek tragedy.
And looking at it from that perspective, it doesn't qualify as a Greek tragedy because the character with the fatal flaw who makes the mistake that cost them everything is Twilight, not our POV character Sunset.
But in hindsight, not being a Greek tragedy doesn't keep it from being a tragedy.
However, I think I'll continue to leave it off; as you said, it makes the ending unexpected. That way, it hurts more!
