Upon discovering a siren egg stolen by Starswirl from the Dazzlings hundreds of years before, she asks AJ, the pony who knows family best, to raise the siren in a loving environments in the hopes it will grow up to be a friend and asset rather than an enemy. But as she hatches and raises the baby siren, her family begins to crumble and she wonders if she's the best to raise the young siren after all.

I think I can safely speak for everyone that we all prefer longer chapters. Nothing excessive like 10K+ words, 1K+ words is usually fine.

There will be some exciting things, but it is mostly a slice of life story. :) I'm also planning on writing an adventure type story about Brio later. (And yes, there is going to be a big climax in the future.)
