Arceus, God of Pokémon, Master of Creation and Leader of the Legendary Council has made Equus a new home for his Pokémon hoping to give them a fresh start and escape the Darkness and evils of Earth and protect his children.
But little does he know that Equus has been in the crosshairs of Darkness for One Thousand Years.
Oryx, The Taken King, First Navigator, Lord of Shapes, and harrowed God has come to Equus to avenge the death of his son who was killed by the Princesses. With his army and his fleet at his disposal he arrives at the planet only to find resistance in the form of creatures known as Pokémon, united in an effort to defend their new home.
But what Arceus and the people of Equus don't realize, its that Oryx is called the "The Taken King" for a reason.
And the answer will horrify everyone involved.

Hmm, interesting start. It's well written enough and at least engaging. I don't care for Destiny at all, but I can see you've put some time and effort into this and you've captured the characters well enough. Not sure how I feel about Rio dying, but it's not a big deal.
Although, I have to point out that after the Summit, Sev doesn't like Arceus anymore. He switched over the whole worship and honoring thing to Luna. So Princess Luna is the patron goddess of the PLA now. A minor point, nothing major. {As for other characters and such, I can PM you details and ideas. I'm sorry for inconveniences. As for Rio dying it was to establish the tone of the story, that anyone can die which is something I believe no one has attempted in our group.

I really like this fic! the only thing i would say is that the dialogue could probably flow better, but overall its really good.
I really hope that this doesn't end up like so many other mlp fics where the good guys win and the bad guys are sent crawling back into the void. Oryx really should win this war, no contest. He's not just stronger than any creature on Equestria, he's not even in the same league. Celestia, Luna, and Discord are immortal, sure, but Discord hasn't even been mentioned in this story, and Celestia and Luna have only lived for about 10,000 years. Oryx has lived for approximately 4.5 billion years, and hes washed over multiple Galaxies like an unstoppable plague. There simply is no contest as to who is stronger. I mean sure, i suppose with a lot of struggle, Celestia and Luna could kill Crota, but they have literally less than a 0% chance of beating Oryx.
