Princess Luna meets her greatest foe, the bed.
She discovers just how hard it is to find the perfect position while laying down in a bed.
All my yes. You missed some punctuation, but other than that, great.
I never realized how hard it is for ponies to sleep, jeez!
That was bizarrely captivating, if only because I know exactly how she feels. I wonder just how many words you could stretch this out to, just Luna trying every concievable position.
Yep. We've all been there.
Very fun. Good story.
I sympathize a lot with Luna. Blasted insomnia!
Great fic BTW
Nice! I don't know how many nights I've had like this, but I've had a few! I can relate!
THIS IS EPIC. XD I loved this!!!
>>732932732932 8th. Not even close.
>>732875732875 would you mind pinpointing the punctuation mistakes? I'm hard at work right now and don't have enough time to go through and find them myself atm.
Damn you itchy legs!!!!!
This did make for a very nice diversion.
(I'll pm you the punctuation errors I saw)
Story of my life...
The first thing in this story was "Luna yawned."
I had to fight my way through this story, now it is 01:30 AM and I'm far to tired to write a comment.
I know nights like that. So frustrating. I just end up sleeping on the floor.
Trollestinsomnia plagues many ponies. It's not funny.
Reminds me too much of myself...
It takes too long to find a comfortable position in bed all the time...
Oh man, my OCD was cringing the entire time at the minor discomfort levels. It was driving me nuts.
> Each hour was another hour of insomnia. She practically begged for sleep, switching her position faster and faster as the night progressed, cursing silently when she couldn't sleep in the given position.
Should that be "as the day progressed?"
Ghurh, I had a night like that last night. Insomnia sucks. I was expecting Luna to realise that she was so used to sleeping on the moon that the hard floor would be better.
Silly pony. Doesn't she know horses can sleep standing up?
Really funny. I've always wondered, watching this show, how any of the characters can sleep in beds with their anatomy. I was especially distracted during "Read It and Weep," in which Rainbow Dash kept lying on her supposedly injured wing.
Trollestia strikes again
poor woona. we've all been there.
Trollestia is the best princess, barely edging out Derpy Luna. So this is pretty much perfect.
I got four hours of sleep last night, because of this exact problem. I feel you, Luna. I feel you.
I know the feeling (just last night). Maybe I should have slept on the floor too.
Silly luna, beds are for humans not ponies.
Floors are right up there competing with tables, couches, trees, and toilets for the title of The Most Comfortable Place To Lay Down And Go To Sleep.
humorous and well-written
A very good story. If anything, because I know her feeling.
I love it.
That was cute.
And that my bronies, is why horses sleep while standing up. (Scientific fact!)
Sometimes I'm just like this.
Trollestia strikes again.
This is me
Of the school year
Take all the win.
Take every last piece of it.
Poor Luna! mean Celectia!
I have felt his too. I have tried to sleep on my bed once but it was uncomfortable, the desk in my room was more comfortable.
Sometimes a hard surface is much more comfortable than softness.
Its because your desk doesent shift and move everytime you change position. This means that if you where to find a comfortable position and have to move or get up, if you get back into that exact position everything will be the same. You can't do that with a bed because if you move your movement is transfered throught the bed.
I love sleep so much that I study my own sleep.
I can't answer the question you sent me because I don't have internet on my computer and my phone does a poor job of adding comments and is not capable of composing or replying to messages. Sorry.
Princess Trollestia strikes again!
they don't have to worry about wings and a horn.
>>742979742979 I suggest making a nest of soft clothes on the floor and just curling up there.
Is it bad that my first thought was that she should invite some royal guards over and have them lie down with her, so that she could sleep on them? This seems to work for all of the rock stars-- why not the princess of the night?
But, anyways, this is just great!
Been there, Luna.
Poor Luna but we all been there
