After a local tragedy shakes Rainbow Dash to her core, she finds herself plagued by guilt and nightmares. As the hallucinations grow worse and worse, she find herself unable to determine what is real. Or are her delusions part of something more?
Discord's power was something that always frustrated Twilight. All that power, with no effort, no cost. So when Discord offers her a chance to learn his secrets, Twilight quickly agrees. Unfortunatly all things come with a price.
Twilight never became an alicorn princess and instead lost her life as a result of Star-Swirl the Bearded's unpredictable spell. But being dead doesn't prevent Twilight from visiting those she cares for...

Okay, let's get the obvious joke out of the way first:
There, now with that done, I have one important question. What was the point you were trying to make with this story?
You, were trying to make a point, right? It's hard to believe that you weren't. The otherworldly voice's dialogue seems to suggest that you had some sort of message in mind when writing this incredibly surreal story. But for me, the message became muddled due to the surrealism. Or, maybe you wanted us to interpret this on our own. Which is, okay, I suppose. There's no rule saying only paintings, sculptures, and poems can be open to interpretation.
Worse-case scenario is that there is no point, and you're just being surreal for the sake of being surreal. That in turn would make this story a bunch of pretentious dreck. Honestly, I'm hoping that's not the case. I can't stand pretentiousness.
So, yeah. There's not much else for me to say here until I know what exactly you were trying to accomplish with this surreal tale. Because at this point, I have no idea.
6272502 The Tantabus? Okay, that just raises even more questions.
First off, how is the Tantabus doing this? It went back to into Luna's subconscious once she forgave herself, didn't it? Secondly, from the dialogue, I can surmise that the Tantabus is mad at Twilight, so it's punishing her with this dream about nonexistence. Even if it could do this, why would it be mad at Twilight? All Twi did was convince Luna to stop wallowing in despair and move on with her life. It's Luna who ultimately quashed the Tantabus's attempt to turn Equestria into a living nightmare, not Twilight. And it certainly can't punish Luna because Luna has control over it once more. This entire story is falling apart at the seams!
I will say this much, though. It a metaphysical sense, this nightmare is a lot scarier than most of the nightmares the Tantabus actually thought up.
10884950 Oh wow, this is a nice surprise. You've now done readings of stories on both my janky old alt accounts, but not my main where all my good stories are, lulz.
I'm not sure if this counts as playing myself but it's funny either way. Past me would be thrilled to see this and present me is too, so big thankies ๐
Twilight, as a friend, I am commanding you to lay off the LSD.
I'm wondering just who that was, now.
