Moondancer has been in love with Twilight for a very long time. Even after Twilight didn't show up at her party, she still had hope that her feelings were reciprocated. That didn't happen.
Although they got off to an awkward start, Twilight and Pinkie have been dating for a few months now, and they are very happy together. The two ponies are very much in love, and although the news was a surprise to their friends, their relationship has no problems. But that's not what Moondancer wants. Not at all.

Hmmm.... I'm a little conflicted here. I mean I love ship fics. I'm just not sure if I will like this one since it is tagged dark. However, I am not about to count it out yet. This is only the first chapter. It would be foolish to decide such things yet.
I'm conflicted because I don't mind twinkiepie, but at the same time I'm kind of wanting some Moondancer x Twilight Sparkle. What would it be called anyways. I've seen MoonLight used, but I think that's also used for Nightmare Moon x Twilight Sparkle. Maybe DanceLight? Who knows.
I am going to keep an eye on this fic. It might be a little difficult to read if the chapters get too long without the extra space between paragraphs though. That's just a matter of opinion however.
I'll read this later, But honestly I'm very excited to see a Moondance fanfic appear.

And what do you mean by the extra space between paragraphs? Do you mean paragraph breaks or hr lines? (I don't know what they're called, I'm a child who knows just about nothing about html)
(personally I call it Moonlight, I've honestly never seen Twilight shipped with Nightmare Moon so that doesn't ruin anything for me)

It's just how most fan fics are written so it's a bit easier on the eyes of the readers. It really is kind of a preference in truth. Don't do lines though, that would make it really cluttered looking, but you can use lines for scene breaks if you want without any problems.
The second option isn't really wrong or anything, but it can make reading longer chapters a bit more taxing. Readers can sometimes loose there place while reading as well. They also might see it as more of a wall of text instead of a story and decide they don't want to read it after all. It is still up to you really I was just kind of putting that out there.
6182663 I know that it's a rule to do one or the other (I did neither the first time I submitted a story and it failed moderation), and personally I prefer indenting. And I wouldn't use lines, that'd be really messy.

Aww, poor Moony. Not to criticise, but the way her thoughts are written I feel like she has just a crush on Twi, lingering from when they were kinda friends as fillies. Maybe this is intentional, and the whole story is about Moondancer discovering what real love feels like/realising that what she feels is just a crush, but...I digress.
I dunno, maybe that's just me. I will see as the story unravels what the answer(s) to my question(s) is/are!

6316912 Like most of my stories, I will mostly plan this out as it goes along. But at the moment, I don't plan to have any serious violence in this story (although a character will be drugged at some point), so there's not gonna be any blood or anything. But if that changes I'll put a warning.
