It has become reacquainted with the sapience it once knew from when it was human. What's more, the mind-controlling plaga is being strangely quiet. Unable to speak and stuck in a horrifying body, can he get anybody to help him figure out what's going on?
This is a crossover with the game Resident Evil 4.

Ironic, as well. the human species actively and diligently avoids excluding those of other race, yet we have very few races that are defined by anything other than their skin tone or accent (and when I say 'define,' I don't mean in literally.) When it comes to ponies, at several points in the show, the characters say everypony even with spike present. They seem to be blissfully ignorant to the fact that they are one of many races of sentient beings.

They use it so often that they just forget to say something differently when the situation calls for it. Although that beckons the question of how the use of words like 'everypony' got popular enough in the first place to warrant every-day use, what with all the different species around.

642609 The game is Resident Evil 4, often called the greatest game in forever. If you have a computer that can run it, I think you can usually find it for free at a lot of websites seeing as how steam doesn't carry it (it's pretty old). If you have a console, I think you can buy an HD version for a low price off of the Xbox Live Arcade/PSN network. Although there's also HD mods for the computer version, the console version can save you the hassle.
This is one of the coolest and most out there fanfics i have ever read.

This is an interesting idea. Most Creature/Human in Equestria protagonists are relatively normal looking. With the U-3 (aka. pain in my ass/ammo eater) being the ugly monster it is, the ponies will have a hard time of dealing with him. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh well. At least now I can fight the big cheese in HD. Also here's a little known fact: If you shoot Mendez in the eye while he's in his second form, he'll instantly drop from the rafters.

Hm, I've been creeping around fimfiction for a while now, and I have to say, out of all the stories that have weird and interesting creatures or humans coming to Equestria, yours is the most well written. Also, just a little question; is it possible for the U-3 to gain control of his (or its) mandibles and retract his/its tongue to form speech? Kinda a high-set hope due to the nature of what he/it is. I also like the characterization of the U-3, it seems that he was rather intelligent back home, before the mutation. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. You have piqued my interesting my good sir!
643659 Nah, more likely they still have on plaga alive on their back. Just shoot their legs off and you can get easy access to the one on their back. Just make sure you're far enough away so you won't be hit by their attacks while they're on the ground. Or you can just throw a grenade behind them. Whatever you prefer.

I was kind of wondering myself after I started writing this story, so I did the battle against U-3 in RE4 again to find out if he ever closes his mouth. He never has his mouth closed, and he still has it open even after he dies. Because of this, I assumed that, while could probably control his mandibles, he couldn't ever retract his tongue (where would it go, anyway? Not like he has extra space in his throat.).
643694 Whoever said he didn't? You could take a little artistic license and cause a mutation to happen due to the adaptability of the plagas. Then again, I have absolutely no real good idea, having never played any of the RE games.
You could also blame the stretching on the same type of stretching the left "arm" can do. Then again, it's your story and not being able to speak would be an interesting plot device.

U-3 is an experiment by a group called the Los Illuminados to combine certain animals into one organic being. If it helps, the story's image is a picture of it.
