Grr, I hate one shots. They leave so many questions with so few answers. Lol, not bad though. It just feels to shortlike it should be the opening chapter to something, not the whole of it.

6176222 It's not inherent of one-shots to leave many questions unanswered. Good ones leave you with a nice question to ponder. Alright ones are open-and-close cases. 'Meh' ones leave many little questions unanswered, like this one. And then there are stories so dead set on keeping the "Mystery" that you start to wonder how they didn't fall right through one of their own plotholes.
6176676 Good point. There are just a lot on here that are great, but are killed by being a one shot rather than an opening. They set a great scene, but end before they can really begin.
I have actually read some great one shots that would've been ruined by being longer, but it seems more the exception than the rule.
Dragonalias, I think this could be a good set up for a story should you choose to pursue it. As is, it just doesn't give any sense of closure or completeness.

6176932 thanks for the comment :3 Nah, it was meant as a one shot, a kind of spur of the moment thing that I wanted to do, as it is I'm far too busy with 'a new beginning' to start new long stories... I have plenty ideas for those though, it gets frustrating sometimes XD Maybe I'll make more oneshots and take your advice to try to make them more... closed? XD Depends on the inspiration I guess :)
