A 3 year old story I've had kicking around, but never completed, based on the Finale for season 2. Be warned, it gets a fair bit... odd. Chapter three is abbreviated so I don't have to type out the whole friggin episode and you don't have to read through it.

Well this played out interestingly. Turning Chrysalis into a metaphor of what Cadence was afraid she was doing to Shining worked really well, especially with the... well when I heard "with what you did to him" I immediately assumed infidelity was the problem, so I was very interested (compelled, really) as it became revealed what she really did. It definitely surprised me.
The ending almost... seemed to easy, but it was still heartwarming nonetheless.
6004468 Thank you, and I'm glad it kept you interested! And yes, the ending was short, partly to avoid re-hashing every one of Cadence's motives again, and also to add additional emphasis to the mental conflict as the harder conflict for Cadence.
It seems there's a chunk of the chapter missing. I believe it was suppose to be something along the lines of; "something something something how you really feel! I think I'll just have to send that Twilight of yours down there with you!" "Don't you dare hurt her! Something something something"
NO I WANT AN APOLOGY! I really hate how everyone treated Twilight in that episode and only Applejack apologized on the behalf of the main 5, not shining armor, or Celestia, I really wish there were more stories where Twilight is less forgiving but still is forgiving in the end, meh whatever.
