I am very happy to see that you started the sequal so soon, and extremely ecstatic that it's already off to a great start. The beginning was a bit of an info dump but it was enjoyable, and you did say that the prequal isn't required reading. Anyway, it was enjoyable. I can't wait for this to get in full swing and will no doubt enjoy reading it.
On that note, referring to your reply, it makes sense that you left some details to be expanded upon in this story. I read that you were basing this all off of a Role-Play log, but I thought it ended with the conclusion of the last story. Seeing as that was only a part of the log then I can accept leaving the bits unresolved. I will be waiting for them to be addressed even more now though.

One of my favorite things about this story (and it's predecessor) is just how true to the spirit of the show it is. I had a smile on my face pretty much their entire conversation about friendship.
I really like the interaction between Octavia, Sketchy and Luna. It's just three good friends having a great time with some music, some laughter and some anecdotes. I like this fic so much as far as it being a slice of life tale. That plus the fact that there isn't any of the mane six or if there they are only there briefly, and you keep it in Canterlot.
