Well, that was certainly an interesting read. I've seen a number of stories with this concept, but I'd say this one has been better than most of them so far. For being only 35,000 words long yet, it felt surprisingly eventful and like a lot was going on, without starting to get disjointed. That's pretty impressive. You've got a bad habit of misapplying words, though. If you end up continuing this, you should work on that part a bit.

I was thinking that Twilight's suspicious darkness episodes were being caused by an evil entity. 
This feels similar to Past Sins but with some unique bits and bobs to make this fimfic one of a kind. Really good job so far. 
I wonder if Diamanda has been reincarnated as a pony, but if so then who? I guess I'll just to have to wait and see.
