Well, you've got me hooked. Can't wait to see how this plays out. SpikexRainbow has always been my crack pairing of choice.

I perfer Rarity and Spike but a Rainbow and Spike I would not say no just it better be good. And so far its good.

Only problem i have is I never want to see Rarity shipped with big mac or blueblood does are the ones i see that will never work. Fancy Pants IDK it could work but he has flur and IDK im a little biss to Spike and Rarity. IDK it seems right. She wants a gentlemen and someone to be their for her. Spike is willing to fight to protect her.

Seems like a nice Knight and Princess story with those two.

Anyways not bad I like it. I do want to see me.

Huh, don't think I have ever read a Rainbow Spike ship, not bad so far.

I really like the extremely rare ship of Spike x Dash, to be fair Rainbow is a lot more likeable than Rarity. I have a feeling Dash is gonna be going out with Spike to that restaurant because let's face it I'd be a shame to cancel those diner reservations and not to mention the cancellation fee and if spike got a suit it maybe too late to get his deposit back. I shall track this fic.

OH MY GOD!!! The moment I read Fancy Pants' first line, I was in deep pain (good kind of feeling pain, the pain that was intended). Spike was going to get rejected without even a date to say that he was allowed to try! (adding the crying Rarity doesn't feel right in this situation) The rest of the conversation felt like I was getting dragged across a long hall way carpeted in coarse sandpaper!

Its great to see another Spash fic after the only other one on this site seemingly died well before I found it and left everyone on a cliffhanger when the feels were really rolling.

Very well written stuff here I love the pacing in this story. Not too slow, not too fast, just right. Also, I think you wrote the scene with Rarity and Spike excellently. It was bittersweet, but still oh so very sweet. First time ever that I've actually liked Rarity as a character, in-show or in fics. Congratulations, not only have you written a really enjoyable piece of fanfiction, you've also achieved the impossible

I do commend you, sir. The development of the relationship is well paced and feels more natural than most such stories on this site. It's a sign of a good author, IMHO, who takes his time to properly describe a narrative that works.

Yeah, there's been a bit of gray area with his name. I used the mlp wiki page for reference and went with Owloysius after much debate, if only because I like the spelling of it more, and it's closer to Aloysius. Honestly, I don't think there's really a wrong way to spell it based on the wiki page.

Yay! Another excellent chapter. You really make this ship work, even if I was a bit iffy about it at the start (Spike shipping is usually just weird for me). I love how mature they both are - but RD really needs to join the Wonderbolts. I dunno why, but fics where she doesn't make me sad for some reason. I'm liking this very very much. Hetero ships, even relatively unusual ones like this, are so rare and this is remarkably well done and editted. I'm charmingly delighted that Ludwikia put me on to it, even by accident. Let there be more.

I generally hate when stories like this play down the inherent conflict of a cross-species romance, but since Spike and Dash are such conflicting character types to begin with, it works.

This is a really good story.  Not exactly the best writing, but a great story.

No, I assure you that I'm very much alive. Just been busy with my other stories until recently, as well as the usual day-to-day stuff in RL. However, I'm now working on chapter 4 of this story. Hope to have it up by mid-October at the very latest.
