Okay I clearly knew I wasn't gonna win the day here reading the summary (still couldn't help myself) that being said Twilight is closer to his sister then his mom. Celestia actually raised him (Lauren Faust does specify this). I laughed, hell if he were my kid i'd be pretty damn proud of him scoring a babe like Rarity at his age (which is over 13 if we humanize it)
