I'm not a fan of fantasy but I do like your hybrid setting of magic and technology. Also, you perfectly captured the cloying sweetness, condescension, speciesism and arrogance of Queen Celestia. Good work showing how Concordians went from into distrust and then hate.
Out of curiosity, are there non-magic users in Concordia?
My biggest issue is how the flashback and the current battle scene are mixed together.
One other thing, I'd suggest introducing and describing the other species of Concordia. All I get is that Kanraks are some insectoid species and Phanterans are leonine humanoids.
And personal choice, I'd personally capitalize the names of all the sapient species instead of just a few. If only for consistency's sake.

The difference is that sentients can feel but sapients are capable of abstract thought. A horse is sentient. An MLP Pony is sapient.

I mean to have the most pro-human factions in fiction go up against the TCB universe. Oh Emperor that would be amazing. Even if the Imperium would curb stomp TCB. Because the Imperial Guard alone numbers in the sextillions (yes that is cannon, some people even did some calculations and that number is actually a pretty low estimate considering the vagueness of how many planets are in the Imperium. All we know is that the Imperium controls "Millions" of planets)
