Why would I think you have no life? We can learn a lot from a well written story and I've seen a lot of talent in the Brony community. Bronies have written stories that have made me laugh, cry, and question my world. Not to mention original songs/videos and charity work. Be proud Brony, we're part of something great.

Interesting time to place this event at, I'm curious to see why you chose this period exactly.
The only part I find to be a little off in terms of character is the part with the council. While I'll accept the fact a council could and probably would exist to help the diarchy of the Princesses in difficult decisions, the way it's done is backwards to me. A council would be used if the Princesses couldn't come to an agreement on something as a mediator. Not to mention laws pretty much only apply to citizens of a country which he is definitely not. His fate would solely fall on the highest authority and at their discretion.
I understand the point of it is to put a kind of inevitable dread and tragedy into the setting, I just don't like that some random ponies who haven't even seen him let alone spoken one word to him are the ones placing his sentence.
