Short Hilt, an eager pegasus mare with an even more eager ambition, sets off to find the perfect spot to build a town. At first her original intentions were just to run a normal city like Ponyville. However, that changes to hopefully bringing equality to even rarer species of ponies as well as other creatures. She's a small pony with a big heart, and plenty of it to go around. However, there are hardships she hasn't come to terms with, and she will have to deal with them as they come.

Poor Patina T-T seems like she had a really rough childhood. Sounds a little like one of Daft's characters, Damsel Flash. She's not a true alicorn, but rather a winged unicorn and she was shunned the same way. "Either you have wings or a horn, you can't have both," was something she heard a lot until she took it to heart and magically hid her wings. Because of hiding her true self, she became adept at glamours- physical illusion magic.
I have a feeling if the two ever met, they'd probably like each other.
MOAR! I demand more new chapters! Now that I have finally bothered to get around reading this fanfic, it has a special place in my heart.
#1 The Alicorn reminds me of myself in some respects. While I had loving parents, during elementary school I was an outcast through no fault of my own. It continued even past high school. It wasn't until later on in college that this has changed.
#2 The main protagonist is most charming and fun! I can't wait to see what other oddballs she collects with her new town!

5859455 Eeyup. That's basically the whole point with Patina as a character. I want to show certain members of the fandom that alicorn OCs CAN work if created properly. I mean, honestly, alicorns weren't even first originated by my little pony in general. Shoot, usually every unicorn you see as figurines or paintings also have wings and they're just called "unicorns." xD I...think I made that comment on here already. Not sure.
And to think I used to be against Alicorn OCs as well. Guess who learned a lesson? xD
