Applejack and her family are joined in this year's special apple harvest by Twilight, who's hoping for a nice relaxing evening of apple-picking...
A short random piece with no ostensible moral, unless "Don't think apple picking is easy" counts.

Heh! This was a pretty entertaining read. I suppose dealing with the occasional rogue apple tree is one of the risks of living in a magical land, eh!
I could swear I read this one before: Was it on your 'in progress' list before, or part of a different compilation of stories you wrote? ![]()
I always wondered why the Apples don't deal with more magical trees considering what kind of land they live in. This was written before the episode featuring zap apples, of course. ![]()
You're correct. It was part of a compilation, but I decided that this story and another one (Dare To Be Awesome) could stand alone.
FiM MMO? I didn't even know they existed. Truly, this fandom is one of creative opportunity.![]()

I third or forth, I'm not sure what I read but I couldn't stop laughing so cheers.![]()
All I could think of was ponies storming the beaches of normandy.
It was a little confusing but definitely a lot of fun ![]()
... You know, I was expecting a simple story about Twilight learning that hella telekinesis doesn't solve every problem down on the farm like it did in Applebuck Season.
And then this happened. ![]()
I enjoyed this story, but... I kind of still want to read that other one. ![]()
Thanks everyone for the positive feedback! I am very grateful to you for taking some time to comment, even if I'm a bit late in replying to those comments.
Yeah, even I'll admit this was a pretty superficial work, almost entirely written for entertainment, and I would like to produce more substantial pieces in the coming months. While I can't guarantee the "other story" will get written, I hope whatever I do produce will be as good as, if you ever want to read it. ![]()
