Story looked very interesting til it stated that all character's besides Spike are lame humans.

Would've preferred it if Spike wasn't some almighty Warrior honestly. It takes away so much from a good set of character development. So sadly I will not be reading his story.
I don't care if its ponies, anthro or humanized. When the main character I'm watching has it all already, I lose major interest.
I do have to say this is a great story and I am interesting in it myself. I like that Spike isn't a upstart but a experience warrior. We might not see him grow as a warrior much but there is still plenty to see him interact on a more personal level. I hope we do get to see that he does have some intimate with someone. Right now it seems he has lived a lonely life for thousands of years and for a Spike that seems very mature but still fun to be around that is kinda sad. I hope we get to see someone other then Twilight break through his shell and get close to him. (Who knows maybe the relationship between student and master might change over time or a new female comes into the picture)
