Hmm.. I came here because AA told me to read this story, and must admit to not having read any of your or Varanus' other fics. While this probably limited my enjoyment of the story by ensuring I didn't fully understand all the references, the context usually explained enough about the stories for me to still be at least somewhat amused by Celestia's comments and characterization. Still, I really did feel like I was missing out on a major part of the joke most of the time, though that is obviously no fault of yours. And the ending was pretty hilarious, seeing how I actually know something about AA and therefore understood what you were writing about.

I actually really loved this story. Having read all of your stories, Composure, AbsoluteAnonymous's stuff, and having knowledge of the Field Notes series (though I, uh... haven't read them at this point), I understood pretty much EVERY REFERENCE EVER. For some reason, this story fails to appear in my Read Later list, creating an annoying discrepancy between the number on the tab vs. the number of stories shown on the actual page.
