They say misery loves company. Not quite. I love Misery's company.

Life on the road isn't easy, even for the Great and Powerful Trixie. Her shows are rather hit or miss, and sometimes the place where she's staying is less than welcoming. So when a gig in the city turns out to be successful, Trixie is happy to treat herself at a small cafe.

I approve of this relationship! :pinkiehappy:

My only nitpick is that Gilda seemed a bit too well spoken. Other than that, I enjoyed.

The dialogue was my biggest concern about the story. Thanks for letting me know what to work on.

Oh, I loved that!

A pleasant little encounter here. Nicely done.

Aww. I like it.

H-hi, staff member. I think I'm going to faint from happiness now.

This was a nice read, it's nice to see a different side to characters that you and others might have pushed into a slot. I agree with Seether about Gilda's dialogue but beyond that it was smooth sailing.

There was a bit where I got hung up on, when Gilda was describing how she and Dash stopped being friends, but it makes sense that Gilda and Trixie would see the situations in a light favoring them. Not too mention Pinkie was being a bit creepy and couldn't take a hint during that episode.

I really wish s´this story wasn't marked as "complete" :raritydespair:

This was very sweet!

It feels like there should be at least two more chapters. One for the next day/ their growing friendship/relationship and one for the charity flight-show.

Any chance there is going to be more/ a sequel?

Good show. I tend to hate most Trixie fics due to my abnormally high standards and personal feelings for the character, so it was nice reading something featuring her that didn't make me want to do something horrible. Oh, and I like how you wrote Gilda too, so well done.

Have I said yet how much I like this story? I only wish that Lightning Dust showed up too. Though, they had a point with how reckless she was being (I guess...) but civilians should have never showed up to a military academy in the first place. Unless, of course, the Wonderbolts aren't part of the Equestrian military, in which case, I've been completely misinformed...:pinkiesad2:

Have I said yet how much I adore this story? Now, if only I could get the author to be on of the many collaborators on my story! I kid...unless, that is, the author is actually willing to do it?

This story was a good read. I liked how, in obvious denial of the reality of the situation, the whole nation has yet to turn it's back on Trixie, and she's not dead yet. Unless...that is...she uses illusion magic on herself to make herself look like a different pony nowadays...HOLY NEW THEORY, BATMAN! TRIXIE LULAMOON IS SUNSET SHIMMER! THAT'S WHY I'VE NEVER FOUND A SHIPPIN...ER...I MEAN, THAT'S WHY SHE KNEW ABOUT THE ALICORN AMULET! WHAT OTHER PONY KNOWS AS MUCH ABOUT DARK MAGIC?

This story makes rainbow dash out to be a real dick. Which I can respect, because not too many authors would be brave enough to do that. Plus she kinda is. Great work!

I dunno why, but Gilda and Trixie would make a really cool duo. They'd be good friends if they met before Magic Duel.

This is a beautifully done fic. I love the interaction between these two, but keep an eye on the dialogue, Gilda is remarkably well spoken, from how we saw her in the episode. Trixie feels very spot on though and you really capture how each of them likely felt perfectly too.
