Unfortunately, as an aspiring physicist, I have to tell you that 3-D glasses wouldn't work at all, since the movie has to be shot with two seperate cameras and then screened with two projectors.
And today I sold my soul to Luna to make this story into an actual episode. Hope it does.

Dear goodness gracious gratuitous gold grabbing golly! This story was so excellent, I'm going to give out such an outrageously in-depth comment!
First things first, let's get the elephant in the room out of the way: there were spelling and punctuation errors, blah, blah, blah, big whoop. Get a pre-reader, read your story aloud twice before posting, easy fixes. I've never really found grammar and mechanics to be especially pivotal, and unless they were blatantly terrible it's never affected my enjoyment of a story before.
Now the story itself, was a whole other animal. I mean I'd even go so far as to say the plot is on par with the actual writing from the show. It was funny, vivid, I could actually visualize half of what was going on, and let me tell you it looked fantastic. Your humor was on point, and the part about the actual movie was gold as well. You've also convinced me never to buy anything from the Flim-Flam brothers somewhere along the way. My word, this was just...

Wow, I Favorited this as it truly was good enough and in line with the show, even the ending where you had twilight's letter monolog going at the same time the episode was still wrapping up.
But putting it in my favorites just doesn't seem to be enough, I mean I have lots of good stuff in my favorites but this is like a whole other level, like featured favorites.

Why is this the only fic on FimFiction that even has the word Smooze in it? Other than the stupid face they put on it... because it was the previous generations (oh gods why), the Smooze is an interesting concept. Unstoppable goo that overcomes whatever is in its path, and makes whoever it touches slowly lose all happiness and want for life. From what I've heard, and like to believe, in some other fic that mentions it ONCE, the Smooze once essentially destroyed Equestria. Cloudsdale, while not the oldest city, is the oldest original city, because the others were rebuilt after the Smooze destroyed them. Thats an interesting concept if I know one.
Very well done, a great story. It was very funny to read, it really felt like it could be an actual episode, and the lesson at the end is very valuable. In fact, I should start applying it to myself
As a maker of (intentionally) cheesy, incredibly stupid movies, I appreciate this. It's the same reason I love Godzilla and Ultraman. It's so bad it's good. Hilarious story, and funny reference with the Smooze from the older generations MLP. I also got a bit of a The Blob vibe here, and considering that I have (unfortunately) seen that movie, it makes this all the funnier!

This was cute. I figured it was either going to be a porn movie or a really aweful B movie, but I forgot the "everyone" rating ruled out the former. I liked the end where it turns out Celly and Luna show up.
*Grins* My elementary school had a series of picture books that tied into those old black and white films. The blob was always one of my faves.
